Zenkichi has a rustic and exotic feel to it with intimate booths privately secluded with bamboo blinds. You press a button to get your server. The food is exquisitely prepared and to die for. A true gem! I went for business, but I hope to be back for Date Night Nirvana.

The inside and outside décor of Zenkichi restaurant is definitely not going to be to everyone’s liking. From the outside, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant, and has no sign with the restaurant’s name on it. Inside, just like many people have already mentioned here, it is very dark, and you have to constantly watch your steps as you... More

Went there with my wife and 8 month old baby at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Staff was very diligent and food was delicious. Great experience overall. We were seated in a little corner at the street level next to a party of 12. Quite luckily we managed to be done before they arrived. Just read previous reviews and staff... More

Not like the pics on the web at all! We went here for a romantic dinner and were disappointed by the uncomfortable seating. We sat in a cubicle which was the size of a broom closet. The seating was uncomfortable; it was not just tiny but we also had to sit next to each other as opposed to across from... More

This is an authentic Japanese restaurant, complete with discriminatory practices from the 19th century. I tried to dine here the other night and brought my tiny newborn baby, who we have eaten out with at least 20 times. He is tiny so does not make a noise and sleeps through our meals. He was in an ergo, so not like... More

It's a very intimate and dark place for date. Not the most luxury place but they do try to make a theme restaurant. Every table or cubicle has semi-walls or curtains for privacy and the server will not bother u unless u push for the service bell. Food was excellent. There are a lot of small dishes u can order... Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. I figured that this dining experience was going to be incredible, but this restaurant completely surpassed my expectations. My husband and I were blown away by how private our booth was and how friendly and helpful the staff members were. We ordered the eight-course meal and I'm so glad we did because every single dish was... More

My husband and I love Zenkichi. We have been coming here for at least 2 years. Maybe longer. Drinks: I have to start with the sake because it's 4 pages of the menu. I LOVE their sake. Never had a bad one. Please don't order hot sake. Just try a cold one. They have one to suit any taste. Food:... More
