We tried the 8-course tasting menu, every single of these were delicious, fish, meat or veggy. That was an amazing dinner with a refined, light and original cuisine. We had a great time, I really advise going there!

This restaurant is located in Brooklyn so it takes a while to reach from Manhattan but it's really worth it! Each table is either in a private little room or kind of separated from others with blinds. It looks really cosy and romantIc. You either chose from the à la carte menu or take the 8-course Omokase. We took the... More

Read a lot of reviews and wasn't disappointed. The 8 course menu was expensive but the food was really good. Next time my wife and I will order from the a la carte menu which looked a little cheaper. Cool bamboo blinds for the booths. Very romantic!

Food was fantastic – everything from the snacks to the heavier dishes, it all came out in a surprisingly orchestrated order. Ambiance is relaxed, great for small groups that fit into the funky compartments. Service was impeccable and the price very reasonable. They also have a decent sake menu – go for the cold ons though.

Incredibly authentic Japanese food, private dining tables and incredibly reasonably priced - considering the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, very amicable and professional staff and exquisite food. Perfect for small groups who want to enjoy a nice conversation around authentic Japanese food. We overtipped thinking the tip wasn't included and the staff called to let us know. We admired and were touched by their gesture and honesty. And we'll definitely come back!

Excellent Japanese cuisine. I tried the degustation menu, it was fabulous. The place is cozy and good for couples or small number of friends.

Williamsburg is fast becoming one of my top locations for food. Zenkichi is has a very traditional Japanese vibe. Instead of separate rooms they put people into booths with sliding blinds to give them privacy. This was fun and also entertaining seeing the staff sometimes struggle with them. We opted for the omakase. The presentation was stunning. Everything was very... More

Halloween night and we enjoyed the 8 course special. I had warm sake and my husband & brother had cold sake. Wonderful. Each course was prepared with intricate details and our palates were not disappointed. I appreciated the privacy of our table and the attentiveness of our waitress. Highly recommend Zenkichi.
