The evening we were there the initial noise level of the music was beyond unacceptable. Asked the server to turn it down, but she said many people complained, but management said no. After several minutes the music seemed a bit lower, but I did not know if it was turned down or I was loosing my hearing. However the food,... More

Four of us stopped here for lunch and all made the same choice: lobster rolls! If you’re willing to splurge (“market price” is the rule), you won’t be disappointed. The toasted, buttered rolls were stuffed with big chunks of lobster meat, and the accompaniment was a heaping pile of excellent shoestring fries. We also shared a plate of spicy Vidalia... More

we enjoyed the restaurant from beginning to end: food was excellent and fresh; service was great and wait staff was friendly and accommodating. we had fantastic oysters which were icy cold and briny, although pricey at $3.50 per oyster, but definitely worth it. all of our party enjoyed their entrees as well. note: the bar serves only wine and beer.... I've been to fish camp a couple of times and always regarded the fare as solid if overpriced, especially considering the tiny "European-style" portions (to be expected in a enclave of dimwitted socialist craft-beer lentil-eating hipsters like Park Slope). I'm inspired to write this review by the jaw-droppingly terrible gumbo I was served on Valentines Day, there with my wife... More

I recently stopped in to the Brooklyn Fish Camp after leaving the nearby Barclay Center. It was around 9PM and not very crowded, so my friend and I sat at the bar and ordered a couple of fried oyster sandwiches call Po Boy.(I believe) We sat and watch some basketball, had a few beers on tap and eagerly awaited the... Love this place, unfortunately i've waited for a table, more than i've eaten here. I've simply learned to go on off nights, when people aren't entertaining out of town friends and family. Fish is always fresh, menu options are always consistent and tasty. Prices could be a bit better.

Very good upscale seafood. Definitely not for you if you are looking for the usual seafood fare of broiled stuffed flounder. Do yourself a favor and get the Old Bay fries, they are amazing!

I have gone to Brooklyn Fish Camp several times and even though I like the food, I doubt if I will go back any time soon.On a positive note, my brother loved the steamers there and every dish I have had has always been fresh and nicely prepared. I always enjoy the food, but like so many restaurants in the... More

Excellent seafood, waitresses knew menu, knew specials, made good recommendations. I made two trips within a week, if I had stayed longer, would've returned again. Nice beer selection also.
