i was there in 2007 with my girlfriend- it just opened, so we didn't experience the epic lines that there seem to be nowadays. Even if the pizza was handmade with the bottle (something that for the purist should never be done as you will destroy the little bubbles due to fermentation and the pie will be too thin) was... more
I didn't really understand what the big deal was. The place was PACKED and the pizza was expensive. It was SO hyped on Yelp that we decided to make the trek to Brooklyn but neither my friend nor I thought it lived up to its infamous name. more

Absolutely some of the best pizza ever. We have family on the street and walked over before going into the city and all three pizza's were excellent. Small place so get there early. more
Quite possibly the best pizza I've had in NY. And a really nice, cozy atmosphere where you can watch him making the dough. Perfect. more
