Great place to enjoy a nice beer.

If you like beers this is the place. The beer menu it's amazing. Iyou can try a burguer, a sausage or another german dish. For me the sausages with sauerkraut and fries are awesome! You can try the large variety of mustard seasonings too.

Radegast is the quintessential Billyburg Biergarten--oversized, fun, and repurposed. This is a factory sized space with the most delicious, fresh baked pretzels and the awesomest sausage selection served with kraut and fries. Come with a group, this place can handle it.

I was visiting the neighborhood with friends. We all had to use the ladies room, despite the restaurant getting ready to open, they permitted us to use the restrooms. We had an appointment, but decided to go back there for brunch, since they were so nice. What a pleasant surprise. we had a great brunch. I had the butternut squash... More

Growing up from a German heritage in NYC, there were many German restaurants all over the city. Over the years, they seemed to disappear. We were spending time in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and decided we had to eat at Radegast. We ate lunch there and hopefully soon, we will return for dinner. I travel to Germany a lot and frequent the... Who knew you could find an authentic German Biergarten that features live swing jazz in a restored Brooklyn warehouse? I travel to Manhattan often, and have managed to both avoid and underestimate Brooklyn for years. On a recent 3-day stay in the city, Radegast was my reason to cross the bridge and see what's doing. I'm impressed with the progress... More

Radegast is a great spot, the authentic feel, large space, and vast imported beer selection make for a quality experience. The bar staff is extremely friendly, and they seem to have a special glass for every different kind of beer they have! Happy hour deals are superb, the food is delicious and hearty.

With a German husband and half German son, who is a resident of NY, this place was a must. If there were a rating between 'average' and 'very good', that's what it would be. Their selection of beers is excellent but the food stopped somewhere short of 'very good' for us and we found it over-priced for what it was.... More

What a blast! Excellent beers served in a crowded beer hall lined with long, community tables and live music! What more could one want? Food? Say no more! The grill inside offers a wide variety of German sausages on a plate with red cabbage and fries for a reasonable price. Damn this place is cool. If you're over 35, you... More

Wide offer of great beers and an amazing grill where you can enjoy lots of different type of sausages and a great asado burger. One of my top places to have a burger in NYC!!

The place has the genuine feel of a German biergarten like what one would find in Europe. The most impressive thing is their selection of delicious delectable beers on tap. Do your self and order a tall glass of the Weihenstephaner Vitus. The grill has a varied selection of sausages that were well worth their cost. The kitchen menu looked... More
