If you are ever in Williamsburg a great part of Brooklyn, do not miss the chance to eat at Dressler. We intended to go to Peter Luger's which is located right across the street. Booked our reservation a month in advance for Saturday 26th September 7.30pm and also said it was our wedding anniversary hoping that we would get the only 2 seater booth in the middle of the bar - they noted it but said they couldn't guarantee it as they get lots of requests for it so we said that was fine... more
they bake their own bread, pastries and make a black currant jam that's the talk of the town! more
Aside from the cliché decor, its atmosphere is perfect for dining, an escape for decent food. more

one of my favorite restaurants in brooklyn from the dumont clan. really great ravioli soup, chicken, salads, it's all soooo good and fresh. really turned up the notch for higher eating standards in billyburg more
