Best Brooklyn Beef Pastrimi

If you heard the food line for this place goes down the block, you heard right. However, if you go between 3-5pm like we did, you'll find no line, and loads of mouthwatering bbq all yours for the taking. While it is pricey it is worth it. Any time we go back to New York to visit my family we make sure to stop at Fette Sau. Meat is smoked on location and the menu changes according to what is available. Family seating, so you'll likely sit with folks you don't know. It's a popular place for locals so... More

Visited Fette Sau the first time in 2012 and it was an amazing experience. There was a long queue but it was definitely worth the wait. I decided to take some friends of mine to introduce them to this establishment and share an awesome experience with them. First thing I noticed was that there was no queue and actually lots... More

Best meat restaurant in New York! The place is very simple, with shared tables and good beers on tap. The sides are excellent. Best ribs ever!

I took my husband here, because in all fairness, he has somewhat become a forced vegetarian because of me. Every once in a while, I don't mind eating some meat, as long as it's fresh. So honestly, until we ate here, I can't say when the last time I ate anything meat related. So I decided to take him here... More

German seems to be very trendy in Williamsburg. People say it is the best BBQ in town, and indeed it is great. Great spare ribs, tasty craft beer in mason jars (!), and a very old school interieur. Better be early as queues are very long at night.

Wow. The prime questions here is: how much to order. The brisket is amazing - smoky and fall off the fork tender. The ribs are also outstanding. I'm normally not a dry rub BBQ guy but Fette Sau made a believer out of me. Sausages are good but nothing amazing. Stick to the brisket and ribs. The belly was OK... More

Amazing place, If jars of beer and slabs of perfectly BBQ'd meat in a n nonsense environment is your thing get yourself here. I am still in a meat coma.

Another example of Brooklyn putting a stale hipster twist on a tried and true cooking source. The BBQ is not done well as there was so much fat and oil in my brisket that it was actually disgusting - slow cooking if done right gets rid of the fat and works it through the meat to tenderize - not here... Read good reviews about this place so wanted to check it out. We came early (a little before 7) and there was no line at the food counter. We ordered ribs, pulled pork and brisket. All the meat was somewhat on the dry side though tasty. The potato salad as a side was average and the broccoli, which was recommended... More
