Favorite place in Brooklyn

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Brooklyn! Garage style interior, food trays and meat by the pound is a fantastic concept. Their brisket is out of this world!

Go during lunch to avoid the queues. Their BBQ is excellent. I always go for the brisket and the pork belly. Sometimes I order the stuff by the pound to bring to potluck dinners. They are always a hit. I prefer BBQ that is not overly sweet. This place hits the spot. It's smoky fatty savoury meaty goodness. Washed down... More

I ordered a black Angus beef brisket, I have to admit that it was taste so good and very tender. Service isn't exist as its like a self service. It's hipster stile therefore you eat on the tray. Unique experience and I felt good therefore I suggest it. By the way to improve knifes not sharpen and way to serve... More

Well located in Brooklyn, this was a visit we were looking forward to for a long time. Sad to say following a recent Saturday night visit, that Fette Sau was a major "fail". We waited for more than an hour to be served (i.e. service is slow and inefficient) and ordered almost all the meats, including "fatty" brisket and pork... More

A very down & dirty experience that's priceless. You order by the pound & the brisket is extraordinary. Make the pilgrimage for a one of a kind experience.

Pretty good southern style food set in a hipster themed Brooklyn setting. Beer and whisky selection both good. Food is good with being exceptional but would go back order different things. Worth a look.

This place is quite small, but is great. The meat is ordered by the pound and the served on a meat tray. The BBQ beans are amazing. They have a range of beers including local beers on offer and can be bought by the gallon.

Took the Metro from Manhattan on a local's recommendation. We are from Texas and were a little skeptical about barbecue in Brooklyn. Pleasantly surprised-the barbecue was good and the beer was cold. Sauces were good-we tried 3: a vinegar based one, a spicy sauce, and a standard sauce. Good crust on the meat; beans were a standout. Pricey, but good.

Had some great pulled pork & ribs here, accompanied by great craft beers. If only I lived a bit closer...

I've tried basically every BBQ spot in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and this one was the most delicious. Mighty Quinn is another strong entry to the field, but is just not quite as delicious as Fette Sau.
