Very interesting tastes due to spices combinations. We tasted meat balls (6 balls without side dish) and lamb hash. Nice interior design and atmosphere. Liked the place!

Olea is a quaint spot in BK that had an amazing happy hour and in a great neighborhood! Great food for great prices! Have the Potatas Bravas! $3-5 glasses of wine between 4-7p and $4-6 tapas between 4:30-7pm. Nice staff who were attentive for the most part, I was the only one seated outside and as a server I totally... More

This past weekend we experienced a delightful dinner at Olea in Brooklyn. We were visiting our kids in NYC and had a concert to go to at BAM in Brooklyn (an incredibly energetic interesting organization) and they suggested Olea. It was a really fun dinner. This is a small Spanish-oriented restaurant that serves both regular entrees and tapas. Because we... More

We went to Olea for my birthday dinner, as we anted a quick (read: not drawn out with lots of formality) meal in a place with a lively atmosphere. We have two small children at home, so we just ran out for about 90 minutes. When we arrived, it was lively and we opted to sit at the bar for... More

Two dear friends brought us here and I fell in love with the place. It's very rustic feeling and it was packed out the night we were there. The menu is really interesting - tonnes of ingredients and flavour combinations I've never heard of before. The service was friendly and the portions are generous. I didn't love my dish, but... More

It is worth it. Very creative tapas and friendly staff. Great corner in the Dekalb area. Loved it once we squeezed in.

I usually don't like tapas but Olea completely won me over. Every dish was excellent, the staff friendly, and a good time was had by all. I highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Brooklyn.

We eat breakfast here every time we go to NYC. It's worth the subway ride from Times Square! The yogurt with cherries and walnuts is outstanding. We've tried almost everything on the menu and it is all great. Green Eggs and Lamb is my favorite. My husband likes the Turkish Breakfast. Next time we plan to try the tapas later... More

I recently ate at Olea again and continue to be delighted by the food and the staff at this excellent Mediterranean restaurant. The assortment of delicious sauces/dips for their pitas, including standards like hummus & tzatziki, or their beet or romescu are a fantastic start to a meal. You can easily satisfy yourself with their tapas & appetizers without even... More
