If you're seeking delicious, Mediterranean cuisine in a charming environment, pay a visit to Olea Mediterranean Taverna in Fort Green, Brooklyn. The restaurant's aesthetic is warm, cozy, and has influences from Spain, Greece, Italy, and the rest of the Mediterranean.  They have a great menu, with lots of options. If you're one who has a tough time settling on one... More

and service too. Had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon before a BAM performance. Was delighted w. food, service and atmosphere. Noise level a tad loud and my chair was several inches below my companion who was sitting on a bench,,,awkward. Savory Parmesan Toast w. lovey poached eggs was delish! Will return for dinner/tapas and maybe an outdoor table to... More

This restaurant serves brunch til very late in the afternoon (it was almost 3pm I think). I had the green eggs and lamb, which could have used a little salt, but was excellent. I loved their hummus and pita. The coffee left something to be desired. But the ambiance and food was otherwise great!

Four of us arrived for brunch, 11:30 on a Sunday. No brunch reservations are taken, so we had a 40 minute wait before we could be accommodated. It appeared the larger the group, the longer for the wait for a table in this tightly packed, extremely popular restaurant. Once inside, we quickly understood the popularity. The staff couldn't be friendlier... More

My daughter and I went back to eat here several times on our recent stay in Brooklyn. The food was great whether it was brunch or tapas. Good sized meals without being too big. Even when the restaurant looked full we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked to describe dishes.... More

We bought tapas and a main course first time we visited and couldn't finish the main course(there was enough for dinner for the following night!) Tapas are very well done and brussel sprouts arte stand out(how often will you hear that?). The happy hour we tried on our third visit is great value for both drinks and tapas. This was... More

If your in the clinton hill area for dinner. Be sure to grab a meal at olea. This is a highly atmospheric place on lafayette avenue that belts out a good mix of mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. My favorite dish is the paellla with pork in it. A good twist to the usual paellas. The desert to share which... More

I have been going to Olea for over five years and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, etc. Last month, dining with a friend, one of the plates we ordered was keftedes. Chewing a meatball should not break a tooth but someone ground in bones with the meat which resulted in a sharp pain and a broken tooth. As if... More

Had the Turkish breakfast, coffee, and lovely freshly baked chocolate croissants. Man oh man, is this place great. High quality ingredients, nice atmosphere, and within walking distance of Prospect Heights. Will definitely go again soon.

We grabbed a quick bite at this little haven located in a residential area of Fort Greene before heading to the Barclays. Don't know if they take reservations - There was a 45 min wait for a table on a Sat night, but we were able to score a couple of seats at the bustling bar. We shared kale salad,... More
