We were on a short break in New York to see friends for my wife's birthday and were just round the corner from the Stonehome. Her birthday was a Friday night so the bar was really busy and hardly enough room to stand. Even though it was so busy the staff did everthing they could do to fit us in... More

We had reserved here in anticipation of its proximity to a concert we were supposed to attend (and subsequently was cancelled). We decided to stick with it and hang in Brooklyn and so glad we did. Menu is limited, yes but it is an absolutely charming spot and everything we ordered was delicious (I tried to stop him but the... More

We dined here for the second time last night before attending a performance at BAM. In summer, we sat in their beautiful garden, sampling great food and intriguing wine flights. Last night, a cold January night, I ate Wild Florida Grouper with roasted cauliflower, and it was superb. My friends ordered the duck and lamb, which also tasted great. The... More

The basement setting doesn't welcome you in but the reputation took us into this pricey but good quality wine bare and eatery. We had a few glasses of wine over a number of evenings during a fortnight visit to nearby Clinton Hill district.Wines are good, staff are really helpful and friendly, and when we didn't have the snacks the main... This is one of the better restaurants in the neighborhood of BAM. We had a good, if expensive, bottle of burgundy, and venison, a salad, a pasta, and the food was quite good, the service very friendly and mostly attentive.

Love this place, terrific wine and food, only gripe is it can be expensive due to the small plates and wine flights.

Went to Stone Home Bar before attending a movie at BAM on a Friday. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, but were given a table for two (the place was getting packed at around 7p) nonetheless. The bar had no air and was really stuffy, especially with more people arriving. It was very loud,... More

Only a few blocks from the Barclays Center, we found this small wine bar. We were starving, so we wanted dinner, and we were so pleasantly surprised. While the menu is definitely geared towards wine, cheese and small plates, we had a beautiful fish dinner. The kale salad and grilled octopus were fantastic appetizers, and we were too full for... Slip down the stairs to a wonderfully intimate wine and foodie experience. Strong selection of wine and spirits with knowledgeable wait staff. Great ambience, even when full. Wait staff varied from very good to excellent. Try the duck breast charcuterie. The 9 ounce tasting flights offer plenty of refreshment as one experiences new wines.

Intimate, cute little patio out back when the weather is nice, and very convenient to BAM. Food is very good; mostly small plates. Wonderful selection of wines, and knowledgeable staff to help you make your selection.
