We ate at TGF with my daughter and a friend - the menu is light on vegetarian options, but my wife (who is veggy) found a couple of starters which sounded nice and had one as a main. The rest of us had lamb, beef and fish. All cooked and presented well - as one of the chefs is Korean,... More

The Good Fork is not about finger food, but creative dishes that bring together nature's bounty with the hands of expert cooking. Our favorites are the pork dumplings to start followed by the roasted chicken. You also have to have the Red Hook Winery Cab Franc which is made just a few blocks away from the Good Fork in Red... To celebrate my husbands 50th birthday we did the Brooklyn Spirits Trail . We started at The Good Fork! The food and staff were wonderful! I will be returning very soon!

I was already "hangry" and not really excited about the "nonconforming" menu items, but narrowed it down to the Pork Tenderloin and spaetzle with apple and sauerkraut while my partner went for the "tofu steak and eggs" on the kimchee rice (like a bibimbap).... Most of our dinner conversation was dispersed with "omg, this is so good!" So good, I... More

Sundays brunch at the Good Fork is worth the excursion in the Red Hook neighborhood where it is still pretty quiet, with empty street so close the crowd of Brooklyn. Great Bloody Mary. The chef is Korean and it gives an exotic touch to some of the dishes. The dumplings as a starter are definitely a must. The steak &... More

I was absolutely blown away by the food and service at Good Fork in Red Hook. We were a bit nervous that it wouldn't live up to the prices which seemed a bit high, especially for Red Hook, but everything was amazing. We arrived without a reservation and were told we could have the cool little table in the corner... More

I went with an old friend and had a great time. Great ambience and close quarters encourage closer gatherings. The drink menu is very good (she had an orange Bloody Mary and I had the Manhatten). Dinner was also very good. Pork chops were excellent- tender, flavorful, good presentation. The grouper was very good as well, but if I had... More

I have been a NYC native most of my life and have with that shared in many succulent dishes around the city, but dropping of my children in red hook July 6th 2013 changed everything , when my family and I walked into the Good Fork in Red Hook Brooklyn. The atmosphere was great, our hostess who was also a... More

Fantastic food and great service in an interesting area of Brooklyn - although it was out first visit to Red Hook, the Good Fork has ensured it won't be our last. A great mix of American and Far East flavours, served beautifully and with panache. Loved the meal here and we'll be back soon as we can.
