We stopped in here today for coffee and to rest a while with our baby. Really lovely place. Bright, tremendous 80's music, and very friendly service. Great wifi connection too. Can't comment on the food but the other patrons looked very happy.

Highly recommend the vegetables and couscous . Fabulous vegetarian stew - perfectly prepared and seasoned. Enjoyable ambience and courteous wait staff. Definately would revisit

We ended up at this restaurant when the one we planned to go to was closed. This turned out to be a very nice option. We went with a small group for brunch, which is served until 4:00pm. I had the Israeli breakfast, and it was terrific. Everyone ordered something different, and every choice turned out to be very good.... More

I visited Miriam recently on a Sunday afternoon for Brunch. We were a group of 5 with varied eating requirements - we had a vegetarian, one carb-restricted member, one who was lactose-intolerant, one strict carnivore and one omnivore. Thankfully, there was something delicious on the menu for each of us. It's a popular Brunch spot, so we had to wait... More

First time having Israeli food and it was very good. To start they provide bread and pickles, which is a nice way to whet your appetite. I tried a number of different mezes (small plates) and my favorites were the meatballs, the zucchini fritters, and the goat cheese and honey. The meatballs were in a pomegranate sauce and reminded me... More

We came across Cafe Miriam just by accident. We were looking for a good place for having breakfast at our first sightseeing day in New York. We had blueberry pancakes and potato pancake two eggs (any style) with labneh cheese, and Israeli salad and coffee and water, of course. It is a lovely place, the waiters are great and they... More

Yes, much of the brunch fare is familiar stuff, eggs, pancakes, etc. But the menu needs to be more thoroughly explored to be truly understood and enjoyed. We started with some of their hummus--excellent! My wife, on the recommendation of another patron, tried the fried middle eastern dough, very unusual for her. But she loved the dish, which was accompanied... More

Miriam has the most inventive assortment of middle eastern food. It's always my go-to restaurant with friends from out of town who are already bored with Italian, sushi, and usual pub fair. The ambiance is casual and comfortable and the menu has options for everyone: from small plates to hardy stews. The wine list is varied and well ranging.

I have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is good. Something for everyone. The decor is nice and the staff is lovely. My only complaint is that it can be loud at times and it is sometimes hard to hear your companions.
