I have been to several Peruvian restaurants around NYC, and this is the best outside of New Jersey. A lot of effort is put into the food and a good selection. I highly recommend for people to try it out. I am Peruvian too.

This is one of the best (tasting) food that I have ever had. I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 5 years and have never been disappointed. The food is great, large portions - we usually share a regular plate for two people. (Jalleja, I think is it called, is absolutely delicious mix of seafood). The green sauce that... More

Five of us ate in the garden mid-evening Friday. Prices average $17-$27 dollars/not value for money in this neighborhood or NYC overall. Steak dishes much better than seafood--arroz con mariscos full of stewed calamari, little else. Waitress didn't put the order in for one of our group and was pushing high price add ons at every/any opening. The place was... More

Reservations are recommended at this busy, small restaurant. My husband loves the red snapper! Excellent food.

Looking for a nice place to eat with friends or family try Chimu. It is a small place but very nice and the food is good. You have a variety to choose from so anyone with a specific diet can still find something to eat. Peruvians are known for their roasted chicken, steak, and of course ceviche. You can't go... More

Everything is so yummy, especially the meats or the paella! Get a fun drink if they have them. Small space with limited seating, but worth the wait. Can't wait to go back!
