Good Food, Attractive Ambience

The food is excellent, and the service as well. Arrived around 6 p.m. on a Saturday evening and was seated right away. The menu is rather limited, however, and prices were on the high side. A busy crowded place with delicious food. One may call the interior romantic. The selections of dishes is limited, but everything is well presented and very tasty. They also have a good wine selection.

I've been going to Stone Park Cafe a few times over the past years, last time being maybe a week ago, and have never ever been disappointed. Their ingredients are always fresh from the market and their ingenuity in preparing simple and savory dishes is what keeps me coming. The menu keeps changing and if you go for the daily... More

My husband and I went here for dinner recently with my mother-in-law who was visiting from out of town. We ordered two of the burgers and an artic char. They had a tuna tartare as a special which was good but not memorable. All were delicious;however, the kitchen was really backed up so the entrees took a long time to... More

Not one of my favourite places to visit again. The menu had a good range of options and I opted for the Three course dinner menu, where the options were salad/soup,steak/fish and dessert.I opted for the butternut squash soup which was ok,then steak which was very small but tasty.I was expecting vegetables and potatoes but they were there hidden underneath the small... In town for business and cousin recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Located amid the bustle of Park Slope made parking an issue, but the service was prompt, unfussy, and informative for our group of 8, and food selection was sufficient and tasty. Limited dessert offerings, but if you are a fan of ice cream or sorbets, that... More

We moved into Park Slope 2 weeks ago and in that time the Stone Park Cafe has already become a favorite. The market menu in the evening is fantastic value and the food is of a superb quality. The brunch is very varied, again great value and great quality. The service is brilliant and the surroundings is lovely. I can't... More

Menu full of good options for a meat eater and a veggie. They made an effort to seat us altho we hadn't reserved. A wee bit noisy but that's a good sign on a Tues evening. Huge and sometimes expensive wine list but we managed to find an affordable Australian Shiraz. Great NZ lamb chops with interesting accompaniments. Cheese plate... More

The restaurant is clean and pleasant and offers outside and inside dining. The service was good. The food is generally good except that the chef over salts the food. So, unfortunately, some of the dishes seriously suffer as a result. In particular, the homemade linguini with anchovies and garlic was barely edible. On the other hand, the pork chop was... More
