The music was uncomfortably loud, making it very difficult to have a conversation. The music selection wasn't even bad but it was blasting from a speaker directly above our table and really made everything else difficult to enjoy. The service was deplorable. Our waiter seemed more concerned with proving he knew the words to the Gorillaz song than he was... More

We were greeted at the door by a slightly obnoxious host who despite having a booking told us to wait outside. Really turned us off! However we got a table with about 15mins and the night turned around from there. I had the scallop and marrow starter that 2 weeks later I am still dreaming about. My Lamb was perfectly... More

Went for Saturday brunch and the coffee was very good, even though the first attempt was so tepid I had to wait for a second cup. The server kindly explained that we'd arrived 15min before they stopped serving brunch. (I guess it stands to reason that that's also the bewitching hour for expecting fresh coffee.) It was tasty when hot.... More

We arrived at 10 AM on Saturday just as the cafe opened. What a stroke of luck. We got the prime table at the window and within 10 minutes every seat was filled. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee all done well and served promptly. We asked to have the music down a bit and they complied, resulting in a wonderful chat... More

Stopping someone on the street, they recommended that we eat here. We are so grateful! Our respective luncheons were superb. I jumped at the choice of the prix fixe $24 lunch of salmon tartare, a fish course, and sorbet for dessert. It was excellent. Not a flaw. Service was attentive but not overly so. We ate outside, so were treated... More

Went for brunch here with a few friends. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. We didn't book and had a very short wait at the bar. I had heard of grits and wanted to try them since I saw "My Cousin Vinny" and was excited to see them on the menu so ordered that. But I discovered that... More

I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday in Septembe - very busy. I sat at the bar rather than wait 30 min for a table outside. But the bar staff was great - friendly, attentive and quick. Quiche was wonderful!

I wondered why the attitude of the staff was so condescending until I met the owners. Then it became clear lack of respect for others was the company style

This is easily my favorite restaurant in Park Slope. I have been here for brunch and dinner several times. I have never had a bad meal here. Never. I have tried many different dishes and every single one of them as been outstanding. The bread is incredible as well. The waitstaff and manager are always welcoming and make a point... More

Best chicken dish I have ever eaten! Served on a bed of barley with asparagus. Perfection... I went twice while on a weeks holiday with my boyfriend. You will not be disappointed!
