The Bread is THE best this side of Paris. The crust has that perfect crunch and the inside is firm but soft. The brioche and croissants are delicious too. There are lots of other yummy deserts to be had too Merci

Can't wait for round two. I only get to the city 3 or 4 times a year and this is on my list if favorite stops. Amazing pichtachio macaroons and delicious cheesecake!

Aldmondine is the real deal. Real French pastries. Great sandwiches (tho the vegetarian sandwich has been soggy lately). Great soup. It is a small place, lacking atmosphere, but it's great to eat in or take out to the park. I eat here regularly. Get here at 11:30 or 12:00 for the best sandwich selection--they run out and don't make more,... More

I came here based on a friend's recommendation and sure enough their macarons did not disappoint. Almondine macarons are one of the best I've had in the NYC area. Perhaps not as good as Laduree's, but still one of the better bakeries. If you go all the way to Brooklyn, it would be a waste to not stop by.

I visit a lot and it's just the best. Can't say I've had better baguettes or croissants anywhere in Europe.

This place is in a nice neighborough of Brooklyn. We were a hungry , we entered in the place and liked the sandwiches and the pastries, then we realized there were insects in the window and experienced the attitude of the owner. A nightmare ! we would rather have been in a Mac Donald. Never again! There are a lot... More

Came across this place by accident when exploring the area one cold Sunday morning. I think the owner and patisserie chef must be French as the pastries are outstanding and remind me of the goodies I used to buy when living in France. There are a small number of tables available for you to eat at if you want to... More

We almost missed Almondine as it was tucked on a side street in DUMBO, but we were so glad that we stepped inside. The sandwiches, cakes and coffee were mouth-wateringly good. We tried a vegetable brioche, a ham, mustard & brie baguette plus two tarts (apricot & pear). Each item was superb. The only reason that I haven't given Almondine... More

Small Bakery in Water? street Brooklyn. Dropped in here just after walking the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan on a Saturday morning . Pastries and croissants of real quality. I thought that Au Bon Pain were good (well compared to other chains anyway) but this place is a cut above. Lucky to get a seat. Go on have a coffee and... More
