On a recent business trip, we were directed by locals to their favorite neighborhood place,Diner. Not very familiar with the location, we followed directions and went to what we thought was the restaurant, but saw only an old metal door. Didn't look too promising on a cold and dark night, but we pushed open the door and found.d our way... More

We always return to this beautifully restored diner for the best hamburger in town. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. With all the snow outside it was very cosy to spend some time in this place with old world charm.

Enjoyed the parking bench that was used in the restaurant as well as the service. However I had great expectations on my burger that weren't really fulfilled; it was rather well done when I ordered medium/rare, and the taste wasn't really that interesting. However me and my wife did both found our starters fantastic.

I visited Diner for brunch. This place is really cool. The brunch menu includes some interesting dishes. The food is SO GOOD! We shared a few things between us and each was better than the one before. The waitress was friendly and helpful. There was a joyful atmosphere. I really liked this place!

Tried this place after reading several recommmendations but unfortunately have to agree with those who think that its a bit of a hipster place with average yet expensive food. We both had starters and main courses that were ambitious in composition but simply weren't prepared well (too salty soup, fish that was cold etc.). Time to get back to the... More

This was my second visit. The first was for dinner last year, this year I had Breakfast. The servers here memorize the daily menu and recite it at your table. The scones looked amazing, but I op[ted for something else. Service is good. The atmosphere definitely something of its own creation.

I grinned at the hipster name of the restaurant in the oft-labeled "hipster" part of town (Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY), but DINER also had sterling reviews, and I'm a sucker for those. DINER does not disappoint! With a menu that changes several times per week, due to the chef's dedication to buying fresh and local, your waiter will write the appetizers,... More

My daughter took my husband and my self here. It's a great local small place with character in the Williamsburg area near the Marcey Line. There is outdoor seating as well. We opted to eat inside as it was a muggy humid evening. We started with great freshly made cocktails, shared a yummy farm to table type salad, a roasted... More

I first went to diner for my bday with friends and I can't stop going back I love the fact that it looks kinda like a rustic old school diner but the only thing on the menu close to diner food is the burger and fries :-) great place cool crowd. The bartenders are amazing and fun to watch!

This little joint was very close to where we stayed in the less trended out end of Williamsburg; the better end, for now. We just grabbed a quick snack and a coffee becuase, basically we were not that hungry. We were never hungry becuase in Brooklyn we ate non-stop. I think we were eating in our sleep. The waitress was... More
