I enjoyed the food, wine and ambiance. The place gets crowded, so the seating is a bit tight. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but you are also getting "homemade" dishes. I've eaten here a few times, and I am never disappointed.

FAVORITE italian spot in brooklyn. Just getting used to Trip Advisor but have been enjoying meals here since it opened. True italian, they do wine pairing, and although it is busy with a lineup well worth the wait. The duck is exquisite and I will be there again next week!! Thank you Marc.

Really liked this place. They even gave us a glass of wine to compensate for an extra wait. Downside is that it's crowded, with lines on weekends.

We were in Brooklyn for a basketball tournament. Our hotel was near by so we thought we would try it out. Thankfully they had a little enclosure to get in out of the cold wind. The restaurant is very small but the service and food was very good. I am not sure what most of the menu was talking about... More

I've had the pleasure of dining many times at Al Di La in Brooklyn. I have never had a disappointing meal there. The malfatti (chard dumplings) in brown sage butter are worth the trip by themselves. What a fabulous aroma! I have them every time I visit. The warm farro salad is wonderful. Rabbit with olives and polenta! Papardelle with... More

We were trying to discover Brooklyn had been walking around for ages really tired and looking for a good restaurant where the locals eat. Checking the restaurants from outside through the windows then did not know exactly where we were I asked a lady in the street a good restaurant to eat, luckily she suggested Al Di La. We walked... Four of us arrived early because we knew we risked not getting in otherwise. The restaurant was full from then on and for very good reason: gourmet Northern Italian food in extraordinarily tasty combinations, excellently served. These were the best dishes we've had this side of Italy. We shall return.

Went to Al Di La with the missus and our great friends from London. Dimly lit, intimate, atmospheric and excellent food. Usually bored of Italian restaurants trotting out the same old stuff, these guys wowed with squid ink, veal, gnocchi and other beautiful, seasonal foods. Highly recommended.

You MUST try Al Di La. One of Brooklyn's finest, intimate and always surprisingly wonderful restaurants. They do NOT take reservations, so be aware there might be a wait. Have no fear, they have a wine bar right around the corner. This is real Park Slope, Brooklyn, dining. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Great wait staff. Great service. Incredible authentic Italian menu—changes... More

We live in the neighborhood and go to Al Di La on special occasions. I have never had a bad meal there and some of the dinners we have had there, we still reminisce about! This is one of the places that is making Brooklyn a dining mecca!
