Wow!! Dropped by relatives in Brooklyn and stayed longer than expected so we went to dinner. We had all heard of Al di La but none of us had been there. That's going to change! Sepia and Oxtail salad, rabbit entree, steaks, veal milanese, fresh pasta. My wife and I want to eat the menu. Great thing is, its a... More

We have been going to and enjoying Al Di La's rustic, Northern Italian cuisine since it opened in 1998. This past Friday my husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Al Di La doesn't take reservations (not for a small party anyway), but we were lucky to get a table for 2 at around 8pm. The decor is... More

A nice quiet restaurant in Park Slope in Brooklyn. Comprehensive menu with a good spectrum of daily specials. The cheese and fig entree was unique and tasty. We shared a lovely sea bream fish broiled and moist, lightly garnished. Rated highly by the local area restaurant crowd, the main dining area was full. We were immediately directed around the corner... More

I grew up in an Italian family, both grandparents from Italy. I had one of the best pasta dishes in 54 years here. Prices reasonable, service excellent. 3 of us ate for $109 plus tip and that included a bottle of wine and dessert. Can't wait to go back.

It was too salty on Spaghetti Bongole.and other pasta dishes. I had to return the my dish and they never apologize instead ,waiter told me it supposed to be that way. I will not go back.

I came with my family - it was 10 of us. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the service was nice. The food was excellent, I found the menu original with a nice variety of products. Highly recommended, one of the nicest restaurant in the area, and good value.

We made a short visit from DC to NYC to visit our daughter in Brooklyn. She surprised us with a dinner out for our 31st wedding anniversary. Danielle, the hostess, was delightful and accommodating. They do not accept reservations so we waited about 40 minutes (as she promised) at the oyster bar nearby at her suggestion...... their bar was closed... More

My coworker and I went for dinner here while staying in Brooklyn and were not disappointed. We had a fantastic appetizer with homemade mozzarella and a delicious special of pasta topped with a duck ragu. Fantastic! I would suggest sitting in the bar area, which is around the corner from the main restaurant. It is dark, cozy, and cool in... More

Our visit purely based on the high TA rating, reading the menu made us a bit sceptic but the dishes and desserts were definitely worth the visit, delicious and not something we eaten before.

Al Di La has all the regular Italian dishes, I have had a few, all good. However I recommend you get their fish special if you are in the mood for fish. Many Italian restaurants I when I have had their fish has been what I had hoped for. Not so here. My fish entree was really nicely prepared and... More
