Having heard they didn't take reservations and were always busy, we got there early (6.45pm) and got a table with no waiting. Mind you it was a Wednesday evening, so I can't say whether this would have been possible at the weekend. We were seated at a long table next to a party of 4 and another party of 2.... more

There were so many appealing seasonal ingredients on the menu I had trouble choosing. I think this is the closest I've had to food as it tastes in Italy. Good food, good wine, good service, nice atmosphere. Would go back more often if it weren't for the constant crowds. more
great, simple, unpretentious food that warms the soul. reasonable wine menu, attentive staff. totally solid and absolutely beautiful. even if you have to wait, have a glass of wine at the wine bar around the corner and relax. totally worth the wait. more
Al Di La Trattoria is worth the inevitable wait for a table, and their wine bar takes good care of you in the meantime. Each dish is absolutely **delicious**, and the service is gracious. If you order pasta, it will be real, hand-made pasta. If you order mussles, they will be perfectly cooked with a sauce that you will refuse... more
