My wife & I were sorry to hear that Casa Rosa was going to close down. After the passing of the Key Principal, the daughter (it's said) is not willing to keep the business. The mood was somber but the food was still good. We don't know what will happen to our regular waiters and wish them all the best.

Went there Friday night to meet with old friends. The food was really good, generous portions, nice prices and no one was trying to throw you out for chatting with old friends for 3 hours.A really enjoyable experience.I've been eating here for the past 50 years, under on name or another but never ever had a bad meal here.

Our regular waiters were off on the night of our last visit & I think the regular cook was out, too. The food was OK, but not up to thier recent High Standards. My wife & I will be back again in a coupld of months to try again.

My wife & I visit Casa Rosa about every 3 months. It's a little pricier than another of our Itailian Spots, otherwise we'd come more often. I again had the Gnocchi & Braciole. No One, NOT a Single Person or Restaurant, can make a Braciole like Casa Rosa. It's tender, fresh and flavorful. And the Gnocchi is fantastic: soft &... More

This is where I go when I am in the mood for pasta - in a neighborhood with many Italian restaursnts, Casa Rosa is may favorite. Their linguine with while clam sauce is fantastic. As is their Shrimp Fra Diablo. I am not a meat eater, but I have heard people praise their pork chops. For dessert, I always have... More

Casa Rosa, on the corner of Carroll Street & Court Street in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn is a fantastic choice for dinner with friends. It has good Italian-American food (much like the Red Rose on Smith St.) but the atmosphere is much brighter. About 20-24 months ago the owners wanted to sell the building, but didn't/couldn't. When the building didn't sell... More

If Casa Rosa and owner Louie seem like a step back in time, you're in the right place for the best old style Italian cuisine in all of New York City. Located in the Carroll Gardens area of Brooklyn at the corner of Court and Carroll, Casa Rosa is a locals' favorite, the place for special occasions; but it's also... More

We have been coming here since it was known as Gloria's, over 30 years ago! They have the freshest home made pastas, as well as great meat, poultry and fish! We invited over 15 family & friends to a party at Casa Rosa and they all loved it! Gina, the owner's daughter, always tries to make sure we are enjoying... More
