How can anybody give this restaurant an excellent rating. Just went there today with my son, and daughter in law and 2 grandchildren. My son ordered lobster bisque special which was watery with a few pieces of lobster floating in it. It was not creamy or tasteful and he left it behind. Clams oregnato were just okay and eggplant parm... More

Food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. Portions are huge. There were 3 of us and all the meals were great.

Average to slightly superior southern Italian food, yet you will eat well. The large menu will be familiar to most diners. The wait staff is professional. The decor is pleasant. The prices are very low. Yet the restaurant is worth a detour to the Gravesend neighborhood in Brooklyn. Why? Because the restaurant is an anachronism. You are in another era... More

Went to this restaurant for lunch mid-week and while it was not crowded since it was a late lunch we were treated as though we were special guests. Two veal dishes were served and both were tender and very tasty. Apparently all of the entrees are served with a potato croquette which was delectable and not greasy at all -... More

This is the place to eat when you want to eat REAL ITALIAN HOME COOKING! It is not Noveau nonsense but true and good. The red sauce will bring you memories of any Italian grandmother you may have known and the portion size is beyond. It is Italian like it was meant to be in a very welcoming way. The... More

This place is a off the beaten path by a block or two, but what a pleasant find! The decor is unique, very vintage. We came here for brunch. The salmon frittata was very good and came with a small salad. The filet, eggs, and shoestring fries were awesome! Good coffee. There is a patio outside with about 6 tables... More

The secret of enjoying eatting in this restaurant is to go early when it is not crowded. The food is very good and plentiful. The only issue is the acoustics. You cannot hear the people who are speaking to you when it is crowded. This restaurant has been in existence for a long time and continues to serve good quality... More
