Post root canal lunch

I know, sounds weird, but I was hungry! The apple/gorgonzola/nut salad is one of my favorites. Can't say much for the pizza. Bread is decent. Cocktail was spot-on. I had just had a root canal, so alcohol was important. Service is pleasant and attentive. I prefer the outdoor seating (weather... read more

I had the one of the best spaghetti carbonaras here that I've ever had. It was served with a raw egg yolk on top to allow you to mix through yourself. Absolutely perfect. I was also lucky enough to have the fantastic soft shell crab. The ambience is romantic and classy. Great place for dinner on Montague Street.

Caffe Buon Gusto on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights is a mediocre Italian style restaurant at best. The food is al right but not worth the price. The service varies from over attentiveness to forgetting that you are there until you begin to "demand" the bill!!! I've been there a number of times and found it to be good and... More

We were walking in Brooklyn and found this restaurant that we did not know anything about. Excellent food and service. Loved the octopus and definitely reccommend it. If ever in Brooklyn again soon we will visit this place.we sat outside and really loved it!

This place is awesome! The decor is beautiful and classy and it has a nice indoor/outdoor feel. The service is great and they are willing to customize any dish. We will definitely be back!

I went here twice with a friend and I had really good food both times. My favorite dish by far were Tortellini in Vodka Sauce. amazing. I still dream of it. It is on the more expensive side, but typical of the Neighborhood.

Charming restaurant; wonderful waitstaff and service. The food was good -- and extremely affordable. I ordered the scarpariello, which was excellent. Tiramisu was good, too. Nothing fancy, just traditional, authentic Italian fare well prepared and affordable.

I actually think the manager opened the restaurant early (no one was inside and they appeared to be setting up) after he saw me looking at the menu and I asked if they were open. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. I loved the Eggs Benedict. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Brooklyn.

We ordered the same 3 dishes plus linguini alla vongole. I already knew the accompanying containers of overcooked pasta w/the blandest of red sauces would be rejected by my guests. I shoulda told them not to send them. Anyway, there was something wrong last night. Perhaps the garlic wasn't fresh or the oil had a bad flavor, maybe the white... More

We just wanted to get some gelato or sorbet. The menu had two options: small portion (one scoop) for $3 or 3 scoops for $8. My wife and I each ordered a portion of sorbet. It was really good, no question about it, but I asked the waiter if this was a portion and she responded "yes". So each of... More
