Post root canal lunch

I know, sounds weird, but I was hungry! The apple/gorgonzola/nut salad is one of my favorites. Can't say much for the pizza. Bread is decent. Cocktail was spot-on. I had just had a root canal, so alcohol was important. Service is pleasant and attentive. I prefer the outdoor seating (weather... read more

We ordered the same 3 dishes plus linguini alla vongole. I already knew the accompanying containers of overcooked pasta w/the blandest of red sauces would be rejected by my guests. I shoulda told them not to send them. Anyway, there was something wrong last night. Perhaps the garlic wasn't fresh or the oil had a bad flavor, maybe the white... More

We just wanted to get some gelato or sorbet. The menu had two options: small portion (one scoop) for $3 or 3 scoops for $8. My wife and I each ordered a portion of sorbet. It was really good, no question about it, but I asked the waiter if this was a portion and she responded "yes". So each of... More

A local restaurant that disappointed us about a year or so ago. We decided to return and ate there on Christmas Eve. The maître de was welcoming and pleasant, service was great and the food delicious. We will definitely return.

July 25 Lunch A man, the Manager?, noticed us looking at a menu on the door and offered us the real menu to peruse. When we decided to stay, they asked us if we preferred inside or out. We walked inside and they took us to a lovely table. What do you know? It was a cool windy late July... More

Sometimes when you wander you stumble across amazing restaurants; this was not one of those occasions. A group of us had lunch here on a whim and it was one of the worst meal out I've had in a long time. The calamari was sad and soggy while the pasta dishes both appeared unappetizing and lived down to their promise.... More

I haven't ever seen an establishment working so hard at earning my good favor. So much so it prompted me to ask if they've been open long and they eluded to some shifting in management recently. He was so happy and eager to make sure we had a wonderful time it really made me eager to write this review and... More

Over priced and not overly good. I ordered the fish and it was small and over a bed of carrots. The bread was stale and the service was fair at best.

This is the third time Ive eaten at this restaurant, I love it. Its just good unpretentious Italian cooking coupled with great service. Bored with Hotel food then this is in a great location on Montague Street near all the local amenities and a short walk to the famous promenade. I suggest you do the walk after the meal as... More
