I'm a Brooklyn Heights native, now living elsewhere. I am never disappointed, had the Filet of Sole. It was not super fried. Our waitress was efficient and right on the money. Our waitress was from Kazakhstan, and I enjoyed speaking with her. I belonged to a Sister City group with Almaty, so enjoyed speaking with her. Always have at least... More

Tasty and inexpensive blintzes, and cold borscht ( beet soup). Service is so-so on weekends when it can be crowded. Also, very good diner food, great value. Not to be missed if you are in Brooklyn Heights, even worth the trip there.

We started going to Teresa's years ago when it was on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. When their lease was to be renewed, the rent became prohibitive and they moved to Brooklyn. It takes us about and hour to get there but we still go at least a few times a year. This is robust Polish food done with... More

I love this place when I get to Brooklyn I come here I used to live nearby. Food is always fresh and service is good. The restaurant is near the water short walk and has a great view of the city.

I especially like the soups here. The borshts and the mushroom barley in particular are excellent. Cold borsht is only served in the warmer months and is quite refreshing. Pierogies come in four varieties and are good. The service is quick and friendly. It is pretty good for breakfast (they open at 7:00 AM). Breakfast is served all day.

I had breakfast here a number of times, food is always great. Service varied from good to bad. In today's visit the waitress hardly spoke English, she took my order wrong, however they fix it and food was great again

We sat in the front external dining area. Service was quick and friendly enough . Good wholesome food. Polish platter and tortellini. Reasonably priced. Inside appeared dark and toilets were basic.

Prime meats and old fashioned cooking make this a meal made in heaven.Whether you desire traditional Polish entrees or classic American dishes, this is the place. The soups are all a meal by themselves. Add the patio on Montague St., the bargain prices and the Brooklyn Promenade with it's Manhattan skyline views a block away. You just can not go... More

The pierogies are so so good. Everything is delicious, but the food is not light by any means, so we usually stick to visits when the weather is cold and you need to warm up a bit. Teresa's is CASH ONLY!
