We came for lunch with a friend who works nearby. Food was delicious, fresh, service fast and very efficient. They have a choice of set menu for lunch and a la carte. We shared a salad, had two small main courses and two cups of tea. All that came to 21$!! It was my first time in this place and... More

We were just walking and looking for a place to eat and settled on Teresa's. It was a great choice. Nice view of the lovely neighborhood and kind of an old style restaurant with daily specials. There was a very big selection and we were never disappointed (ate there 3 times during a short stay in New York). Michal was... More

Very basic breakfasts - eggs, cereal, kasha, potatoes on the side. Fresh orange juice. Good chicken noodle soup take out if you're sick. Could do with some variety: more than just a plain bagel. Good place for morning meetings and running into people having them.

We were taken to Teresa's by our Big Apple Greeter during a walking tour of Brooklyn (I would also recommend BAG - they were superb). Teresa's seems a family type restaurant, with delicious, unpretentious food. My favourite dish of those recommended were the Pierogis - delicious. The waiting staff were very helpful, recommending some polish dishes from the menu.

The seating are is very small with tables very close to each other. The food is good. There weren't much people inside but the customers behind us kept bumping there arms into me which we all smiled and talked about how much more space it should have.. I included pictures in my review to assist you.. I will deff return.

Last night I joined 9 friends for dinner at Teresa's. Even though we were a relatively large group, the service and attention we received was excellent. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken cutlet with kasha and noodles and other people had salmon, roast chicken, and veal. We shared potato latkes for Hanukkah as well as perogi. If you... More

Forget the vegetable soup. Tasteless. Forget the Tuna Salad. Pre-packaged. Stick to the Polish products. But even there the chef disdained the use of any spice. The exception the dill sauce on the very fresh salmon. Even the bloody mary was, you guessed it, unspiced and tasteless. The cheese cake tasted like Juniors, the black and white cake didn't taste.... This is the place that neighborhood families and friends choose for a casual meal. The food is hearty and well-priced, the service is laid back, and children and fusspots are welcome. The food is basic meat and potatoes and is served promptly, But you won't be hassled to move on because others are waiting, whether you're inside or in the... More

On Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, a couple of blocks from the Brooklyn Promenade. This is a fun place to meet up with family or friends for meals or snacks. Basic good food with a Eastern European/Polish influence, in an informal dining room. There is outside seating as well, definitely a plus on a nice day and afterwards you can... More
