Heavy... but you can't stop eating it

On Montegue Street, Teresa's has a wonderful menu of Polish favorites such as perogi, kilbosa, blintzes and has good size servings. It is within walking distance of the Promenade and Court Street, and is the sort of place one can go to again and again. It is child friendly

We had brunch on Sunday and it was delicious. I had Babka French Toast (weekends only) and split an order of fried perogies (potato and saurkraut/mushroom). Some of the best perogies I have ever had. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt and courteous and the bill was surprisingly inexpensive for New York. Since it was a nice day, we ate... More

This is a really nice polish place. Great prices between 13-18$ for main course. They also have great service and the atmosphere is above standard. I took the chicken stroganoff with an amazing coleslow. I totally recommend this place near Brooklyn Heights, if you seeking great food for a low cost of money.

Every time I am in Brooklyn for work, I make a point to stop at Teresa's. It's fantastic! I've never had a bad meal. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is prompt. The most amazing thing about Teresa's is that it is very reasonably priced--especially for New York.

This is a Polish spot with authentic everything... Food, servers, etc. It has great outdoor seating and we had wonderful weather, something the restaurant should provide daily.

Had a meal there yesterday. All was good, until the waitress brought my bill of $24.95. I gave the young woman $40.00 and told her to bring me my change as I needed change of smaller bills. She ran off and returned with a $5.00 bill and a nickel. I checked it as she ran off. I verified in my... More

Consistently delicious food and polite service for the 30 years I've been going there. Sorry I live in the Midwest now and only get back a couple times a year when visiting friends.

I probably would recommend this restaurant more for those who have experience with Polish-style cuisine, rather than those who are just looking for a place to stop and eat while touring the Heights and Dumbo. Though the menu selections are broad enough to accommodate almost any diner's choices, it's the ethnic dishes that you are really coming here for. Breakfast... More
