Still fast service and good value

We were again at my wife's family in Brooklyn during the recent snow storms. We really could not risk going out but having previously ordered in from Tofu did so again on two evenings. Our family of six enjoyed all the old standards including Shu Mei, Pork Dumplings, Egg Rolls, Spare Ribs, Roast... read more

While visiting my wife's family in Park Slope,we opted to stay in on a very rainy Saturday night. I usually don't opt for delivery but my cousin said Tofu was reliable and delivery fast. We called and made a large order of three orders of dumplings, shrimp chinese broccoli, beef with mushrooms, vegtable lo mein, General Cho's chicken, House fried... More

Tofu on 7th has the best non-American Chinese food in my local area. After ordering directly from the restaurant the first time, I begged Seamless to add them to delivery options in my area (Clinton Hill, Brooklyn) and thankfully they did. Having grown up in the Philippines I often get a craving for authentic Asian flavors and this place hits... More

Tofu on 7th is absolutely great if you like authentic Chinese food dishes. I have had their American Chinese dishes and they are good too. Their General Tso’s is crunchy and one of the better GT’s I have had. That said their Authentic Chinese dishes great. I went to Shanghai this summer and came back looking for more authentic Chinese... More

I am vegetarian and ordered the "Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Chicken." The consistency was that of microwaved food (you know, hard and chewy!). The lo mien was SO GREASY my kids wouldn't eat it. Literally swimming in grease. Gross. I was trying to save myself time, but ended up cooking dinner for all of us anyway. Bummer. You are better... More

I thought the food here was excellent. This is the real deal. The food wasn't overly greasy, and the sauce was fresh with pieces of fresh garlic in it. I went with the General Tsou Tofu. I chose mild but because of the fesh peppers it def has a kick to it. Everything came very quickly, free delivery, and I... More

They really need to update their food as well their restaurant. While the menu items sound exotic, they cook the items in such a way (grease & salt) that you're better off going to a dedicated take-out place. The ones with the bullet-proof partitions which have American dishes on the left side of the paper flyer menus.
