Comfy, Cozy, Great food

Mark the owner is a great, super accommodating Food is fantastic usually 3 different duck choices and some of the best fried chicken in Brooklyn! Nice wine selection, reasonably priced. Been there as a couple and with large group. Always very good all around!

Family met near our son's school to have dinner in a Brooklyn Heights. Used Trip Advisor to find a good place and Henry's End had great reviews and some interesting offerings, like duck and many seasonal wild game items like venison, elk etc. We had steak, duck, pasta and chicken along with four different wine by glass (8-12 bucks per)... Have been dining here for more than 25 years and the food and wine are always delicious. The best ribs I have ever tasted, anywhere, and a great wine selection. It is a little bit of New Orleans in New York. Go!

My husband and I were waiting for almost a year to try the gaming festival at this place, where they serve exotic meats like turtle soup, elk, kangaroo, wild boar and alligator. We loved to try new/crazy food, we enjoy the turtle soup was like ground meant savory and tender. My husband had the mix grill, the elk taste like... More

A gem. You can always expect a fabulous meal. Servers are knowledgeable about the wines an beers the are showcasing.

very nice menu, and a special "wild bites" menu, I had the duck and my wife scottish salmon, both very good. Nice atmosphere, and good wait-staff , so I would go again. Little sticker shock , but you get what you pay for.

Henry end is a lovely secret. After a walk over the brooklyn bridge this is the place to go, I especially enjoy the duck and meats.. a wonderful wine complements everything. As you enter you feel like you are in a secret place and the food proves it. It just is a little crowded . I love the fired chicken.... More

What an atmospheric restaurant; a tiny hopping kitchen on display and such an extensive menu! This place is truly one of my new Brooklyn favourites. Superb wine by the glass selection also. Friendly, informative and helpful service, pristine bathrooms - this is a wonderful spot. If I had one gripe it was probably down to the fact that I don't... More

Small place but very cosy. Amazing menu selection and small but very nice wine list. We tried the crab cakes (yummy) and veal (so many sauces), the scallops (yowza) and the sausage (delicious). I highly recommend this place. Unfortunately we went the night before the NYC marathon and good not try too much on the wine list but the food... More

Or maybe it was because of the massive build up by friends that I found this place disappointing. Certainly Henry's had a large and happy crowd and their service was impeccable. But the generous portion of southern fried chicken could not make up for the tough and tasteless crust and cold side dishes. My friends were regulars at this place... More
