Never a bad meal in 20 years

Not flashy, not frou frou, not pretentious. A neighborhood gem. I keep kosher so I don't eat the meat but I've been eating the tuna, the salmon and the veggies for 20 plus years and have never had a meal that wasn't cooked just right, wasn't flavorful and wasn't a reasonable value. It's where my... read more

I moved to Brooklyn last year and reconnected with many college friends who live here. Henry's End is their favorite restaurant fo good reason. The atmosphere is friendly, actually homey. The menu offers many sumptuous appetizers/starters and the entrees are all mouth-watering. We were a table of nine, ordering nine different dishes, all of which came out of the kitchen... More

Went there in late October for the 31st Annual Wild Game Festival. Wow! What an interesting menu. Alligator, kangaroo -- ok, not for everyone. But also buffalo, boar and others. We had the charcuterie plate and ordered some items from the regular menu. They take reservations, we arrived early and by the time we finished eating the place was completely... More

Wanted a special place for a celebration. Wanted good food and wine. I was very pleased. Not the best I have had, but still very good. The veal with mushrooms was delicious, my fish, tuna, dry, too much salt in accompanying flavors. Wine good. Their drinks are way over priced. All in all a good experience. The atmosphere is perfect.

Unassuming but very tasty food and friendly staff - and, remarkably, I felt treated like a regular on my first visit. The atmosphere was exceedingly pleasant, too: I was able to hear my family members's voices despite the presence of the soothing background music. I will be back.

Beautiful food, exceptionally friendly staff, a bit expensive but worth it. Don't be put off by the exterior, inside is warm, cosy and romantic.

Henry's End is one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn Heights. It is a landmark that has gotten better with age. The staff is incredibly friendly from the owner to the waiters and busboys alike. The food is always exceptional! The menu changes at various times during the year to celebrate different times of the year but the main dishes... More

This was our second time eating at Herny's End. We love the atmosphere but more importantly we love the food! On this visit I had the Blackened Lamb Sirloin, excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will look forward to eating here again on our next trip back to Brooklyn Heights.

Henry's End is a small, intimate restaurant near the Brooklyn Bridge. The menu is large and includes fish, poultry, meat and game selections. They even feature a Game Festival periodically. Portions are generous and prices comparable to any upscale restaurant. Parking metered on the street, and service is excellent. Highly recommend.

This bistro-ish restaurant serves big flavor with warm service in a small, bustling space. Prix fixe meal Monday through Thursday is worth the $32 price - the green salad starter was fresh and the orange vinaigrette a lively complement, but the Maryland corn crab cakes stole the show: - mouth-watering slightly spicy sweet-crab yumminess with enveloped in a satisfying crunch...
