A gem. You can always expect a fabulous meal. Servers are knowledgeable about the wines an beers the are showcasing.

very nice menu, and a special "wild bites" menu, I had the duck and my wife scottish salmon, both very good. Nice atmosphere, and good wait-staff , so I would go again. Little sticker shock , but you get what you pay for.

Henry end is a lovely secret. After a walk over the brooklyn bridge this is the place to go, I especially enjoy the duck and meats.. a wonderful wine complements everything. As you enter you feel like you are in a secret place and the food proves it. It just is a little crowded . I love the fired chicken.... More

What an atmospheric restaurant; a tiny hopping kitchen on display and such an extensive menu! This place is truly one of my new Brooklyn favourites. Superb wine by the glass selection also. Friendly, informative and helpful service, pristine bathrooms - this is a wonderful spot. If I had one gripe it was probably down to the fact that I don't... More

Small place but very cosy. Amazing menu selection and small but very nice wine list. We tried the crab cakes (yummy) and veal (so many sauces), the scallops (yowza) and the sausage (delicious). I highly recommend this place. Unfortunately we went the night before the NYC marathon and good not try too much on the wine list but the food... More

Or maybe it was because of the massive build up by friends that I found this place disappointing. Certainly Henry's had a large and happy crowd and their service was impeccable. But the generous portion of southern fried chicken could not make up for the tough and tasteless crust and cold side dishes. My friends were regulars at this place... More

A friend suggested we stay in Brooklyn for a meal rather than cross to Manhattan. I was skeptical, however, this restaurant could compete with any. The wines on offer were very good and not the run-of-the-mill. The duck with Portobello mushrooms and lingonberry was exceptional. My friend had the duck with honey and ginger and the sauce was superb. We... More

It is well hidden in Brooklyn. The service is great, the food is awesome and the best is: it is not pricey. I mean: is as good as any other good place and prices are average. Consider making a reservation since the place is small and the day I went it was full. It was a thursday, so: keep in... More

I was there during an American holiday, with friends, August 21, 2014 and found the place very nice and welcoming, and if like us, you arrive without a reservation, the wait is really worth. Coming from Italy, you could not ask for anything better, as dinner. Very good, I recommend it and if I go back to Brooklyn, of course,... More

Everything went fine, a bit crowdy though. Meals are really good, service is efficient and the place is really nicely retro.
