I had called in a large takeout order and went over to pick it up. While I was waiting, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food, when I got home, was quite decent, particularly the eggplant parmagiarno. The portions were quite large too. They even threw in an entire bread! I would definitely return here.

The food at Gino's is always excellent. They are celebrating their 50th year in business, and this is a testament to the quality of their food. They are a Bay Ridge staple. The worst thing I can say about them is they sometimes forget the bread when you order delivery...a small inconvenience to endure for the always yummy eats.

I've been here quite a few times, food is always great, reservations should be made always, it is always packed with people, specially on holidays, staff is very friendly and efficient, One of my favorite places to go when celebrating!

The only bump in our visit to Gino's was that we waited 30 minutes despite having reservations. Gino's is not for those who want a quiet, intimate dinner! It's loud and full of life ... just like a big Italian family dinner. People come here to laugh, drink, and eat good food, which is what we did. The restaurant was... More

Gino's is a long way from the tourist areas of NYC, but it is worth the trip. This is a family owned, neighborhood place that is loaded with locals all the time -- and that is the mark of excellence. Pizza is excellent, as are all the other traditional Italian standards.

This is one of the best southern Italian restaurants in Brooklyn and the best is good too. The red sauce is excellent and not to overwhelming, great veal parmigiana and pastas. I had wonderful Linguini with garlic clam sauce, with clams and mussels....

We went to Gino's with our family last weekend when we were visiting Brooklyn for the weekend. the food was exceptional. My wife and I got the eggplant parmigiana and it was crispy outside and soft inside, just perfect. The tiramisu were out of this world! I will definitely come back next time I'll be in Brooklyn.

I was here about a year ago. A very nice place for Italian food. Not too expensive. The portions are very generous and you will not be dissapointed by them. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. A nice place if you are looking for a good Italian restaurant if you are in the Bay Ridge Brooklyn area and... More
