Took the Q to really interesting Brighton Beach and walked around a while with all the Russians. Then walked 15 minutes on the boardwalk to Nathan's Famous for a couple of fabulous hot dogs and fries. These dogs are as good as it gets. The sea gulls were also pretty neat, hanging around for morsels and making a lot of... More

One of the reasons for visiting Coney Island was to get a hot dog from Nathan's. I'm not a fan of their food court locations and the Coney Island hot dog tasted a bit different / better. I had sauerkraut, mustard and ketchup on mine with fries. Overall, I could only rate the hot dog as OK.

Best french fries in the universe. Greatest hot dogs too. Never changes. Took me back to my childhood.

Coney Island is sorry the staff here is apathetic, I love their dogs, fries and the orangeade. Otherwise buy Nathans product at the supermarket and grill them at home. We have a deep fryer so I can make their fries.

I thought Nathans would be just another kind of Diner when I passed by, visiting Coney Island on the last day of my stay in New York. I was a bit astonished when I realized that they do not serve only the classic Hamburger and Hot Dog stuff, but also Seafood. Seeing what most people at the seafood counter were... More

I didnt get the fuss over this place. had deliberately gone there after a very disappointing hot dog elsewhere but got swayed by the fish and chips instead. chips were overcooked and really just crispy with little in the middle and the fish like wise. my boyf had the hotdog which he was underwhelmed by. really would avoid. there are... Hard to believe tourists make a pilgrimage to Coney Island but for anyone that heads that way, it's compulsory to grab some fries and a hotdog at this landmark. The fries are special and unlike any others.

The only time I have never been disappointed even a little after hearing about a restaurant. I am not a huge fan of hot dogs--it's not something that I would ever seek out. My husband is, though, and this was on his NYC Must-do List. Friendly, yummy, happy family--totally worth all of the subway transfers.

Nathan's was one of the places on my bucket list. While in Brooklyn my wife and I made a special trip on the subway just to go to Nathan's. Tried the hot dogs and they were just great. Coney Island amusement park was closed the day we were there so there were no crowds. I can now say I've been... More

Enjoying a hot-dog watching the beach here is a must-do, so just go and enjoy the moment ! You won't remember the sandwich taste forever, but the overall experience, for sure you will
