Always good food

This place was packed when we visited, but the lines moved quickly and the food was tasty. Went down the traditional route and had a chilli dog with fries and a beer. The sausage was gorgeous - a proper meaty sausage with the skin on - not like the sort you get in a can, and the fries were good... More

Far from gourmet, but the hot dogs are world famous, hence the famous part of their name; the french fries are the best, hot and salty. No ambiance, watch your purse and pockets, sometimes the neighborhood is sketchy, but it is an experience

Whether you opt for one of Nathan's famous hotdogs with a choice of multiple toppings at this, the original Nathans! or their seafood selections which included delicious fried clams, shrimp and fish...even a fresh clam bar. Multiple choices of beers and sodas. Sides and even specialty sandwiches like a Philly cheesesteak and chicken

There is nothing like a nathan's hot dog and fries on the Coney Island Boardwalk! A memorial Day tradition I am looking forward to mine next Monday. Nathan's Famous is open year round but the Summer is the best. I still miss tbe Chow Mein--yes Chow Mein and Roast Beef Sandwiches.

There is nothing like the original Nathan's on Coney Island. Their french fries are hands down the best anywhere and the hot dogs rock! The ambience is rough but the food is worth it.

Had a good beach trip down to Coney Island. Enjoyed a dog and some smothered chilli cheese fries, with some beer, for a refreshing and filling meal.

This place is a Brooklyn institution and didn't disappoint. There is so much choice. We plumped for the Lobster Rolls and they were good. It was very busy but the service was good and efficient. Restaurant very clean. A must do whilst in Coney Island.

We've never visited a Nathan's because we wanted to hold out until we could visit the original location and at last we did! There were at least 10 lines so ordering and getting out food went very quickly. In just a few minutes we had our chili dogs and went went outside to a table and umbrella. The wait was... More

Maybe I am a little biased being from Chicago.. ok, a lot biased.. but these hot dogs were just not great. I think ballpark is MUCH better. I had the chili cheese dog and found the chili to also be bland. My husband had the same but with kraut and onions on the top and he enjoyed it a bit... More
