While on Coney Island, you MUST MUST MUST try a Nathan's Famous. I ordered one the local way (coney with claw) and my way (only ketchup) it is so good!! It cost $29 for 4 dogs, a large fry and 2 medium lemonades.. but it was also one of the best meals we had while in NYC. I will definitely... More

We've been to New York several times but this was our first visit to Coney Island and our first Nathan's Hot Dog. The bacon cheese hot dog and bacon cheese fries were fantastic! Bacon cheese fries are one of my favorite foods and these were one of the best - there's was lots of cheese and bacon to go with... More

I had family visiting from out of town and I took them to Nathan's. They loved everything! I just couldn't get over how pricey the food was. $60 for lunch. There were 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids.

Was it worth the 50 minute subway ride? You bet! And to think we almost skipped our trip to Coney Island. What were we thinking? =)

Although it could take a little long (lines) the food here is great and worth waiting for. The cheese dogs are good and they also have good lemonade. Since it is Coney Island in Brooklyn the prices for food should not come as a surprise and the taste and quality of food will definitely compensate your pockets.

Having enjoyed Nathan's hot dogs from my supermarket, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to have one at the hot dog center of the universe. With too many cashiers to count, we had a very short wait to get our order. We just missed, by a day, the eating contest, but all the results were posted over our heads. Another... More

Just decided to go there as some spontaneous thing and ended up to be a great trip. I had 2 Hot Dogs, 1 Corn Dog, and Cheese & Bacon Fries. Obviously, doctor would not recommend eating this much calories but when you are there, it just makes you hungry! The hot dogs at Nathan's can be purchased any supermarket but... More

Nathan's Famous is a must. Subway is an easy 30 min ride out to Coney Island. At the last stop you will find Nathan's just across from the station and the boardwalk a few steps beyond. Nathan's is an American cultural icon. We wanted to keep it "light" so had two dogs and cheese fries. On a Monday the lines... More

Had to stop for a hot dog on our walk around the boardwalk! Service was good and the food great (have to reserve highest mark for Chicago hot dogs). We had cheese dogs and a chili dog. All very delicious. Chili dog highly recommended. Bacon cheese fries excellent! Hit the spot and didn't break the bank!
