A must try

The low rating is because the service is brutal, long wait, counter people who have zero clue what they are doing, or whats going on, and when they do know, they are slow. Only reason I give it a middle of the road rating is because of the food itself...hot dogs are awesome, with the chili and... read more

Famous for a reason. These dogs literally snap at you, but it's a heavenly bite! Try the chili dog and you're in for a real coney treat. The fries, well they give you a little fork to stab them with, they are that thick, and so perfect! I say this is the place to eat at Coney Island - and... More

It was 5 degrees in NYC but we had to have a Nathan's Famous Corny down. And it was worth the train ride from Manhattan! The server was such a sweet girl - everyone working there was happy and fun, even though it was below freezing and not a day to be out and about! I love that they offer... More

A real New York experience. We are all health conscious these days and hot dogs have always gotten a bad rap. Obviously the nay sayers haven't eaten at Nathan's in Coney Island. You don't have to participate in their 4th of July all you can eat contest to appreciate their fare. Try it for yourself but don't eat them all.... More

Used to be really good but in the past few years the quality is not as food as it used to be. The fries used to be the best. Still a great place to visit if your in Coney Island.

Nathan's hot dogs in Coney Island (on the boardwalk) are the best in town. No other place can compete with their hot dogs. Their french fries are also the best that there are. Everyone must try them at least once and then they will be hooked. You cannot go to Coney Island and not stop by Nathan's for their hot... More

Absolutely delicious! Wonderful hot dogs with snap. Grilled to perfection. Also the finest French fries. The salty air from the Atlantic Ocean adds to the experience. Only downside are the prices. Definitely overpriced. They've come a long way from franks for 5 cents each in the old days. But hey, you don't come here every day to clog your arteries... More

There is something about a Nathans dog at Coney Island that separates it from the other Nathan's outlets. Maybe is the history, or the sea air or just the diverse customers that come from all over to eat there. In fact, the dogs taste better there. Ambiance? Hey you don't go there for the decor. Have a dog, fries and... More

Nothing beats the hot dogs at the original Nathan's in Coney Island. There must be something in the sea air that makes them taste so much better there than at other Nathan's locations around the country and light years above any other hot dog I've tasted on trips throughout the U.S. Their french fries are great and so are the...
