I don't know if it is the best pizza in New York as some people say, but sure it is a very good pizza, if you're in Brooklyn it deserves a visit.

Ok, we live about ten minutes from a Grimaldi's so this was a test. The manager at home has told us they filter their water just like Brooklyn so they taste the same. Guess what? They do! The pie we had in Brooklyn was just slightly thicker than what we have at home, but taste wise, it was spot on.... More

Okay so this place is famous and in all the guide books but it delivers. The pizza is fresh, very tasty and worth walking over the Brooklyn bridge for. You might have to queue but the queue goes quickly Note though it's cash only. But make sure you visit it if you are a pizza lover.

I was told by multiple people to eat at Grimaldi's while on vacation in NYC. Not to mention the reviews I had read on Trip Advisor. So my son and I went. First of all you have to wait in line outside the building. That's how good they are. Secondly, they only take cash and they only sell pizza by... More

We visited Manhattan as part of our recent family vacation. Being from Ohio, my daughter wanted to try authentic NY style pizza. We checked in to our hotel on Staten Island and I got online looking for a place to eat. I've been to NY before and always heard the best pizza is in Brooklyn, so we found Grimaldi's and... More

I asked my friends in NY where to get a good pizza. Two sources said Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. There was a line but it was a nice day and the line moved quickly, so no problem. The pizza and service was wonderful. Have had MANY fine pizzas on our visits to NY, but this was memorable. Kind of an old,... More

We visited Grimaldi's on First St & I must say I was disgusted with their customer service. I would have left, but we were extremely tired as we had just walked the Brooklyn Bridge. We arrive and walked right in. The host (or someone walking right by) asked how many guests... After we said "7"... We were told to step... More

We were told that this place was a "must eat," so we decided to give it a try. First thing first, no credit cards, CASH ONLY! once inside we were seated on the second floor, and not on the first where they still had seats available. Once seated, were were told that the restaurant would be closing soon and to... More
