It's an old relic where people wait in line for a while to get their hands on a slice or a pie at this pizzeria! It's a tasty pizza and worth the wait. Why not? It's fun being in line catching some sun meeting people from all over the world on the same mission. Make some new friends and end... More

This is definitely one of the originals, if you're in the area go there, if you're planning to be in the area go there. If you're on the other side of Brooklyn or in another borough there are plenty of places in between you can get excellent pizza these days without having to plan a whole day around a pie.

Some how word got around that Grimaldi's was the greatest pizzaria in America. What it is is the nearest pizzaria to the exit from the Brooklyn Bridge. In the old days, before Brooklyn became the world's vortex of cool, people would cross one of the greatest bridges in the world, and find a modest pizzaria without much caché among the... More

As someone who has lived and loved pizza in New York for the better part of 12 years, I am by no means the final say, but I do have a strong opinion. Pizza collectors should enjoy all the wonderful pies in Brooklyn; Paulie Gee's in Green point, Roberta's in Bushwick, and the epic pilgrimmage to DiFara deep in the... More

pizza is great but be prepared for a long wait as it is very busy. It might be hard for smaller children to wait on line.

I have always loved pizza every since I was a young boy running around the streets of São Paulo, Brazil. If there´s one thing people in São Paulo know about and are extremely proud of, is our pizzas. I have always heard about this place because I´m a pizza aficcionado so I finally had the chance to go there yesterday... More

So I had read a lot of great things about this place, how it was the best pizza in Brooklyn, how it was amazing, fabulous, delicious! Yet it seems to be a well kept secret from the locals as no one knew where on earth it was! Eventually we found it and stood in the queue to get in, we... More

After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge we decided to try this place for pizza, we’d heard so much about it after all! There was already a line of about 10 people by midday when we arrived but we thought we’d just wait. Within half an hour it was all the way down the street! I think we waited about 30/40... More

Very, very quick service, and wonderful pizza. I have a BIG appetite but one large pizza between myself and I was more than enough. Having walked all afternoon, and then over the Brooklyn Bridge in the rain we really, really wanted a beer to go with it but they have no license (seriously, how long have they been open and... More

I have eaten good pizza's in Rome and these were very yummy as well. Please do not order the Jalapeños for your pizza, I made this mistake and I my lips were on fire for a couple of hours ( I wanted to try something different and boy it was different). Pizza's are huge in the US,we ordered each of... More
