Best Pizza!

I don't usually admit things like this but Grimaldi's Pizzeria makes the most delicious pizzas I have ever tasted in my life. Their margherita pizza is perfection. having just walked over the Brooklyn bridge grimaldis was the perfect place to stop for a well earned lunch!! Having travelled in Italy many times I still think this could be the best pizza we've ever tasted, friendly staff, really quick service and a gorgeous cannoli to finish with!! If you're walking the Brooklyn bridge from Manhattan make sure you... More

Pizza ok and tasty but not worth the hype. Service poor and the guy on the door was a miserable dude with no customer experience it would seem. Sat near door so was very drafty and cold. Cash only however atm in corner -seems odd to me cash only and was pending a liquor licence, pizza with no beer!

Very yummy pizza. You can have them in two different sizes (a small can feed two people, a large about four). Quite a small establishment but there is extra seating upstairs. We were served very quickly and our food also came very quickly. The pizza itself was really good. Very yummy and exactly what you'd get in Naples, but in... More

First of all, this place only accepts cash, so be prepared for that. We have been to a few locations in Las Vegas, and my husband loves it so much that we HAD to go to the original while visiting NYC. It's not a far walk from the subway, which was a major plus. We were looking for a large... More

While walking through the Brooklyn bridge my family and I started to look for a place to eat. We saw Grimaldi's in the corner and few people in the line to get a table. Once inside, I fell in love with the service, the pizza of course and the desserts. We asked for both sauces to try them and we... More

Native Brooklynites so we eat pizza occasionally. Years ago we stood in line for 2.5 hours. The pizza was okay not worth the wait to us. We have had better5 During the visit it was extremely crowded.. A tourist that has not eaten pizza before will love it. They do not accept credit cards so bring cash so you will... More

We had super pizza here for lunch. absolutely crowded but no waiting line for us. Pizza is very tasteful, just 2 things to bear in mind: - no credit card accepted but got own cash machine (4,5 fee) -bill is unclear but does include service I have feeling they do this on purpose to get even bigger fee (got no... There are a few Grimaldi's and it seems that this location (the original) is the best! The pizza melts in your mouth - so good.

Pizza is probably one of my favorite foods of all time. As a native NYer/Brooklynite, I take it very seriously (lol) and firmly believe NY has the best pizza around. Grimaldi's is not what I would consider your prototypical NY/Brooklyn pizza (brick oven/thinner crust/smaller but flavorful pepperoni, etc.). That said, it is absolutely delicious and well worth the general wait... More
