So I've lived in New York my entire life but never had given into the hype that was grimaldis. I had some friends from out of town who really wanted to go, so we set out to Brooklyn (even though there is one in Long Island which is much nicer) because of the view. We had a party of 8... More

Undoubtedly the best pizza in NYC is Grimaldi's located right under the Brooklyn Bridge. They offer thin crust pizza which baked in a traditional way and allow you to choose your own topping! Remember to bring some snack with you and your friend as the queue could be long and last time i visited, i spent 1.5 hours outside!

After waiting 30 min in line we were excited to finally get escorted into the FAMOUS Grimaldi's. The sparse menu with a big sign CASH ONLY NO CREDIT CARDS offers no salads only an anti-pasta for an appetizer, OK, we went with that, and we ordered 2 pizzas 1 pepperoni and 1 vegetarian. The waiter seemed in a hurry but... More

You know you have found the right place with the line waiting to get in, we waited 50 minutes. Once inside you sit elbow to elbow with your neighbor and you don't have alot of choices, Pizza is it. But it tasted just like the pizza I enjoyed in Rome a few years ago. It is a thinner crust. Fresh... More

Good quality pizza. Sadly, service was very poor indeed. I didn't expect Michelin starred service but a smile costs nothing and would have made the experience so much better. My main concern though about this establishment is much more serious than just poor service. This pizzeria has an open kitchen. My wife and I watched the chefs very closely. It... More

Took the subway to Brooklyn Heights to experience the Promenade with its' magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline including the new Freedom Tower. Also a wonderful view of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Ask a local for a pizza recommendation. He told us to walk in a northerly direction and watch for the "long line". Pizza was... We were lucky and did not queue for very long. About 15 minutes. There was an elderly guy helping with the queues. Never have I experienced such a rude person. As if he knows every one wants to taste this miracle pizza. Inside there wasn’t a table available so we were seated at the bar. We waited about 40 minutes... More

We were lucky in queuing for only 20mins. Once inside it quickly became clear that this place operates with the complacency that comes with knowing you are the First Lady's favourite pizzeria and you have queues stretching down yet road everyday. The service was stroppy and brusque and they they serve no beers or wine. Pizza was good but not... More

I can certainly recommend this pizza restaurant. We ordered 2 small pizzas between 4 of us. We wished afterwards that we had ordered the large size as they were delicious and cooked to perfection. The place was really busy when we arrived (around lunch-time) but we got a table and seats no problem. That couldn't be said about the other... More

We were in line outside for one hour! The pizza is not bad but it just taste like any good pizza! Their calzone is huge!! I went to Vegas a week after this and saw it fashion show mall with no line.
