Old-school traditional New York pizza. Restaurant was once a bank, so the interiors are pretty cool. The line for this place can sometimes be really long, but we lucked out and got seated right away. Enjoyed every bite!

Very family based and friendly with all staff interacting with diners. Pizza experience lived up to it's ratings. BRING CASH, no plastic. We didn't know till we took the 45 min. cab ride to get there. Not all international debit cards are practical to use due to fees, etc.

We went here after a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. There was even a queue outside the door on the Sunday afternoon we went on, but we didn't have to wait long and the owner kept coming out and talking to us and updating us on how long the wait would be. They only do whole... More

All is well when you are surrounded by the eclectic nostalgia of the original Grimaldis next to the new one. It's also family friendly. I sat with my 3 year old and we watched our pizza being made while the chef and waiters provided top notch service. The wine pairing with the coal fired pizza crust is what takes this... More

Went there for dinner. The pizzas are big and price is average for New York. The pizza was not very good. The dough was sticky and humid. Would not recommend. I can't see where all the fame comes from...

Wanted to have the "best" NYC pizza and was told all about Grimaldi's and Juliana's and the Hatfield/McCoy type feud between the two restaurants. We choose Grimaldi's and jumped on the subway to Brooklyn. We were there on a weeknight and the line wasn't too bad, we probably waited like only 30 minutes before we got inside. Once we were... Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and walking to Grimaldi's Pizzeria is a must if you go to NYC. It's a no frills kind of place. Cash only, Pizza Only...They said.."We don't do salad". But the pizza is excellent and I would recommend everyone go at least once.

Needed a quick, wonderful pizza and they came through. Bonus of great reputation. Would enjoy again!

Pretty average. Cheap 'plastic' mozzarella. A little over-baked and therefore slightly dry. Trading on its reputation at the expense of taste and the maximisation of profit? I had a far better slice in the Meat District earlier the same day; more expensive, but better ingredients. Oh, and they were very ill-mannered about such comments.
