Get there early, or get there to wait for forever. The view is scenic, and standing under the Brooklyn Bridge is cool, but it was frigid, and my teeth were chattering by the time I ate. The pizza itself was very good, hardly had better, but the wait killed the experience for me.

Unfortunately we had to wait in line very long, around 30-40 minutes. Unfortunately they do not take credit cards. The place is not so cozy inside, but the pizza was very good! Especially for me who is used to the Swedish pizzas. After dinner, it's perfect to walk down to the waterfront for a spectacular view of Manhattan.

Yes, it was simply awesome. It's yummy, the best pizza you can find in New York City. It' near to the Brookly Bridge so after a ride or a pretty walk trought it it's perfect.

We went in November to Grimaldi. We had to wait in line just 5-10mins before the host found us a table for 2 upstairs. We ordered the pizza with Italian sausage, sweet peppers and onions which was delicious. Rest is very much pretentious and shady. Eg, place does NOT, serve slices, accept credit cards (yet has an ATM machine in... More

We went there after hearing a lot of friends the magic of rhat pizza. However, is not in our top ten of pizzas ever eaten. The pizza was cooked without salt. The reataurant is cool, tipical 60,s italian environment. The restaurant was half empty and we felt the service was mostly absent. Not a place we will go back

We came at about 5pm on a Friday evening and were happy to see we didn't have to queue at all. We were sat right by the pizza oven so could see them making the pizzas. They have a thing on the table to hold the pizza which you share and it is surprisingly filling. It is a beautifully authentic... More

The pizza here is merely acceptable, but it is certainly not enough to justify the long waits (and the hype). It has all the trappings of an exceptional pie - crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, basil - but it really lacks flavor. I went there on a pizza tour and we were allowed to skip the line and have the first... More

A group of 8, we visited Grimaldi's on the back of a mammoth walk from Times Square to Brooklyn. We were starving when we arrived and were seated very quickly upstairs. The pizzas did not disappoint. Great base and delicious toppings. Recommended!

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge then stopped at Grimaldi's. 20 minute wait in line outside the front door on a Saturday afternoon. Worth the wait. Pizza hot, fresh and good. Fast, friendly service. Cash only.
