The only pizza I will eat, for real.

So, I was born and grew up in Brooklyn, and spent many of my formative years eating sicilian and spumoni out the porch here. Now that I am an adult, I've made all friends eat here when I'm back home. I've never had a bad meal, the portions are giant, the decor hasn't changed since probably... read more

Best pizza ever had, sauce was excellent. I went there with my children, it was so crowded we took our pizza home.

Yes there's a wait. .. But the wait is worth it.. And I'm not just talking about the pizza I'm talking about the inside in the restaurant... Everything is made fresh and the portions are huge... One of the best mozzarella in Carrozza I've ever had... It comes not in your typical marinara sauce.. The salads are huge and delicious... More

This place was packed an hour wait for a table so we decided to do take out. The food was not that great it was blah. They should just stick to spumoni. The take-out is in the waiting area where people are waiting to be seated so that made things worse. We ordered the food and it took about 40... More

I dunno… I like my cheese on top of my sauce…. Ya know? And when you travel this far out of Manhattan for pizza - the only other time I ever even HEARD OF Gravesend was when I had an intern from there! (but that’s a story for another time) - it had better be good! I won’t go in... More

I love L&B !! I try to go there when we have a big group. The Chef Choice is quite pricey but there is just so much food that you could eat for a couple of days on the salad, pasta and entree's you bring home. If you come with a group try the Chef Choice and then take home... More

Pizza is famous, get the square because the sauce is over the mozzarella. I love the spumoni (Italian ice) which is a combination of chocolate, pistachio and cremalotta. You can bring pints or quarts to go home. The restaurant makes good food too, pasta dishes as well as entrees are true Italian classics.

Friends and I trekked out to Brooklyn last Sunday and ended up sharing a square and a slice. Enjoying the balmy 40 degree temps we sat outside and nibbled around that delicious crispy corner crust on the square. Burned our mouths on the slice. My favorite is the square..the sauce has barely a bit of sweetness with rich tomato-y flavor... More

If you're out by Coney Island - L&B has amazing pizza and it well worth the stop in. Amazing pizza (square is my fav but the round slices are fantastic too) and spumoni. Great Brooklyn experience!

This was by far the best pizza I have tasted in my whole life! Also the Spumoni was soooo yummy. Def a must when in Brooklyn. Wish we lived closer.
