I'll first start off by saying my family owns a successful pizza business in Adelaide, South Australia so I know what quality, service & most importantly, what a good pizza tastes like. Well... the siciliana style pizza was to die for. The dough was crispy on the bottom with a nice and lift middle. The dough was not soggy from... More

They work in same location for more than 70 years - same name and same family. Place is PACKED and they take no reservations - live turn only It means you may wait for hour or so to get seated, but may opt to chose take away Food is good and portions are huge - steak was great, seafood pasta... The Sicilian Pie was one of the best I've had. There is no wait when you need a pie. The turn around is so fast, pies are coming out of the oven almost as fast as they are going out the door. Can't review the restaurant, since I've always taken my pies outside at the tables to eat or took... More

I'm generally a fan of thinner crust pizza - Margherita style with mozzarella, basil and the like - but this place blew me away. The first time I tried their Sicilian style pizza, I didn't know what I was tasting - dough mixed with cheese and sauce in some kind of witch's brew of great flavors and textures. The second... More

I grew up in Brooklyn and have been going to Spumoni Gardens my whole life. My uncle worked there in the 80's and my brother used to make the Spumoni. I love their pizza the most. Theirs is unique in that the sauce is placed on top of the cheese. The secret is the sauce. It is fresh and sweet... More

Forget the reviews that tell you the best pizza in Brooklyn is a certain place that starts with a "G" and is is the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. That opinion comes from a bunch of Manhattanites who want to keep one foot in Manhattan while saying they went to Brooklyn. For really good pizza, take it from a life-long... More

Stopped for a few slices as part of a tour. Pizza is thick crust and different in that the mozzarella is placed on the Doug first and then covered with sauce. This was new to me and I enjoyed it, the sauce was more like crushed tomatoes and the flavor was very fresh. Like I said, different but good. We... More

Many people know of L&B for their pizza, but not many ever go into the restaurant to eat a sit down dinner and many should. There are always mixed reviews when it comes to food and restaurants so mainly you need to go and check it out for yourself, but I can give you some tips: L&B is very well... More

Went to this place on a Foodie Tour and was pretty excited since I'm originally from Brooklyn. The pizza has been on the food network and it was average. The Spumoni however was Awesome. Pizza a 3 Spumoni a 5. I wouldn't go out of my way for the pizza but I would stop for Spumoni again.
