Used to have the best sicilians not sure what happened. No service unfriendly rushed too bad Not what i remembered
8 of us rented a van and drove up for a Chef's Table meal. 5 courses. Each one was fantastic. From salad through desert. Beer and wine, after dinner drinks and coffee all included for $60 per person. Nice long sit down with good friends. Constant service was very attentive and ready to accommodate any variation. The only negative was... More
People rave about it, I suppose it's more about the old home flavor and comfort food than the culinary experience. Get the square cut pizza, I was told and so I did. Presentation was beyond appetizing, the delicious Parmesan cheese sprinkled tomato sauce and the light, cheese infused crust were expertly prepared and ready upon arrival. Something about the mozzarella... More
L&B has been around for many years but like most things times have changed along with its reputation from when I lived in Brooklyn. Their signature square pizza is doughy and not well cooked. It's an assembly line now but back in the "old days" it was love that made this famous pizza establishment. It's always busy and I guess... More
The squares and spoumoni are where it's at. The restraint is good but let's be real this place is for gooey cheesy square pizza slices and homemade ices.
This was good ten mile from our hotel at the bottom end of Brooklyn, but don't let that put you off. It is only $2.75 to get there on the metro, so no excuses. The formal restaurant was not open as they had had a small fire recently. However were not going to use that anyway as we had simple... More
L&B Spumoni Gardens is always delicious. We always order pizza and spumoni, they are the best. The pizza is the best around and always delicious. The spumoni is the greatest. I've never tasted spumoni this good. It is a definitely someplace you need to try whenever you are in the area. Yummy!
We have been meaning to go here for such a long time. The appearances on food channels and reputation did not live up to the hype. Service was horrible. We were greeted by no one. The one waiter was too bust talking on his cell phone in the other dining room to attend, and the hostess was clueless. The square... More
Pizza is very good. You can eat outside and it is very nice. The restaurant inside, we found a little expensive and we have had much better food in other places. Outside you can also get delicious gelato.it is nice for families.
For anyone in the coney island area, you can't go home without visiting this place. I'm not proud to admit it, but I'm a fat guy who loves food. As a New Yorker, I have had my share of fantastic Italian food, but this may be the most unique and best ever. What's so good, I'll tell you. The sicilean... More
