A group of us went to di fara's on Wednesday 3rd September. We waited outside from 11:40 until it opened at 12:20. We were the second people in the queue. We placed our orders for 3 pizza pies and 1 square pizza at 12:20. By 14:00 3 pizzas had come out, but by 14:20 we left having never received the... More

I was looking forward to trying this "famous" pizza...it had great ratings, a lot of hype, etc...boy, was it a disappointment. To start with, I waited a full hour for the pizza - it was at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon...I was told by others that that's the usual wait! Well, you could see why, because there was one gentleman... More

This is good pizza but not the best. The one hour wait and $5 per slice charge are not really worth it. Go to L&B Spumoni Gardens - the sauce is better and no wait.

The basil on the pizza was just fantastic. Also being a vegetarian we had quite a few topping options to choose from. Negatives - The only problem is since this place is so good it took an hour for our pizza , also the olive oil was dripping. I would definitely visit once again.

Loved it, I would go and wait another hour for the pizza. Place is too small, more tables would have been nice, the wait also could have been better

The title says it all. I live in California and getting to the best pizza on earth would be a bit of a chore. Luckily, Dom's son has opened a second store in Vegas ;)

Hands down, my favorite pizza in America! My mouth waters we I think about pizza from Di Fara in Brooklyn. The atmosphere and general appearance could use some love, but if you are ordering take out or a slice to go it's well worth the stop!

I enjoy seeking out really authentic local restaurants when I travel so had heard of Di Fara's and made the pilgrimage out to Avenue J by subway and was glad I did as it was well worth the effort. A few friends and I met just before noon on the sidewalk outside this popular restaurant that's barely a block from... More

This place is renowned for its Pizza as it is done by the very old school traditionalist Pizza maker Domenico DeMarco. I have been a few times, brought a few people, and everyone of them agreed this was the best Pizza they ever tasted. From its initial appearance it looks a little run down on the outside and is out... More

I've been to Di Faras about 10 times so far and I finally decided to write a review. First note: I gave them an overall rating of a very good. This was a tough call. I debated whether or not to give them an excellent, but in a close call I errored on the side of caution. It must be... More
