A tasy slice

This is one of the better slices you can get in the 5 boroughs but it takes forever to get your pizza and it is almost double what you would pay for a slice anywhere else in NYC. However, if you a pizza freak like I am it is worth a trip to Midwood, Brooklyn.

While I get it, and believe in small mom and pop pizza shops that are a true icon in NYC that are slowly dwindling as are so many small family run business that make this city so great! So how excited to get pizza from the this dying breed of the”Best NYC has to offer” . The ONLY person that... More

Horrific service, nasty staff, terrible cold soggy pizza. They are more concerned with making their millions than serving a Good pie. Should be re eval'd by critics as a surprise visit. Sure you will be disappointed.

The pizza is okay for ny style pizza. I personally have tasted way better. I think that the only people who go crazy about this place are people who are either tasting their first slice of ny style pizza or people who are used to domino's/pizza hut pizza. Its regular hand made pizza slightly out of shape made by an... More

It looks dirty inside and outdated but what comes out of that pizza oven is perfection. If you like thick crusts don't come here but if you like a nice thin crust with imported ingredients that is perfectly cooked. Fantastic

Best pizza I have eaten. Dominos, Pizza Hut, PaPa Murphey's, all taste like cardboard if compared to this. Part of it is the history of this small shop and the man behind it. Plan to take your time here. All the pizzas are still made by the man himself. That's okay. Just soak up the experience. Order a square pizza... More

My wife read about this place and said all the reviews were saying it was the best pizza in New York, so we had to give it a try ourselves. First let me say the place is small and cramped with very little places to sit and if you are lucky enough to grab a seat you are bumping elbows... More

This is over hyped but the experience was priceless. We took the Q train from Manhattan to Brooklyn which in itself was fun. DiFara's run down pizza joint looks like nothing has changed since its' inception in 1965. Don't order a special order pizza because it takes 35 minutes. I ordered a special order square and it was worth the... More

The place might not look fancy. But it is not important. What is important that they serve absolutely outstanding pizza. Just looking at how the old man is fixing the toppings for me makes me feel like royalty. What follows is astonishing pizza-perfection experience. I have long moved from Brooklyn, but my taste for pizza has been set by this... More

Let's start with the fact that I got on two subways and waited outside in the freezing cold for 1hr and a 1/2 just to eat this pizza. I was there at 11:45 before they were suppose to open at 12:00pm but they ended up opening at 1:00pm BUT don't let the wait make you leave. The wait was worth... More
