We were coming by foot from Manhattan and we were looking for a restaurant to eat and warm up a little bit. It was the first restaurantwe saw after the Brooklyn bridge and we found a little room inside. It was very crowded, but the service was very quick, we ate a cheeseburger that was excellent and very cheap !... More

hours are good; reasonably priced, close to hotel, generous portions; good basic diner food; great hash browns.

We have eaten here two years in a row while staying at the Marriott down the street. I don't understand the bad reviews on other websites. Sure it isn't fancy, but it's a diner. We can't speak for lunches or dinners but the breakfasts have been very good. The challah french toast was tasty & the omelettes & 2 eggs... More

The attraction to this restaurant is the location at the Brooklyn side of the bridge and therefor convenient and tempting for the odd tourist/visitor to make custom. Monday was meatloaf lunch special. That's what was ordered. Came with a cup of soup (came out cold). Meatloaf, generous portions and fresh vegetables which could of been frozen and mash. On the... We had a great lunch at this little diner in Brooklyn. The greek food was very good, our server was attentive and pleasant. When my son spilled his drink all over himself and the floor, they were kind and very quick in cleaning it up. I would recommend this place again.

place was a little rough around the edges, but food was ok, service was ok and place was clean. Good place to rest feet after you have crossed the Brooklyn Bridge.

This place only remains open because of it’s location, hapless tourist funnel in off the bridge like lambs in a abattoir. The food is just awful. Not ok for a diner or ok in a pinch, just awful. The owner (who treats the staff and customers rudely) must buy his food stock from some sort of last chance outlet, as... More

I was looking forward to a great hamburger. What I got was first was a cold an later a non fresh microwave heated burger and a (over)heated sandwich. Would not recommend this place

Bland is the key word when describing the food here. I try to avoid this place unless I'm dying of hunger. Tourists go here since they don't know any better and it's right at the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge.

We stopped by at Celeste to 'fuel up' before our trek back across the Brooklyn Bridge to lower Manhattan. It's right at the start of the bridge on the Brooklyn side and so is ideally situated for anyone wanting walk the entire length! The menu is traditional New York fare, freshly prepared and served well and quickly. Between the 3... More
