If you want to have a Parisian experience in brooklyn please visit Bar Tabac. Its atmosphere , delicious menu and very friendly service will assure you have a satisfying experience. I went there foe breakfast had a delicious egg florentine and a good expresso. I am sure the rest of the menu is as good ..

They have two TV to watch World Cup games. And handed out USA masks. Great fun. And the staff members all seem to have french accents. Nice people. Food is very good for this scene. We have been here 5 times...so you know we like it!

We barely made it out of the metro stop when we were drenched by a rainstorm on a recent trip to Brooklyn, so we ran into this authentic-looking Parisian bistro only to find a little neighbourhood gem. What we liked most (we didn't eat anything) was the atmosphere - in particular how the bartender greeted everybody personally as if they... More

On a recent trip to NYC, a friend also travelling, had previously dined here, and enjoyed her evening, so we, a group of four visited. We did not have a reservation but were shown to table straight away. Restaurant was lively with music playing, and we started what was an enjoyable evening, SO FAR. Service was friendly and food was... More

Good menu, reasonably priced. There was entertainment that night and we were seated closer to the bar so a bit loud. There is a back room I would opt for in the future.

Maybe this is and may always remain my most glowing review ever Why? Because Bar Tabac has so many of the elements we love. Let's start with how we (family of 4/ inc teens) came to know about this place. We were lucky enough to be staying with a Brooklyn local and cafe owner himself. So he really is in... More

A favourite of my wife's, when visiting New York, Bar Tabac is a lively and atmosphere-packed little French bar/restaurant that oozes character. Excellent food (my French onion soup and fillet mignon were superb), good prices and fast, friendly service are all pluses, although the tables are rather close (out the back, at least). Live music most nights too, I'm told... More

Got a recommendation from my hotel as a place to go and grab a snack. Friendly attentive service, good food and reasonably prices. I actually went two nights on the trot as I enjoyed it so much.

This is a really fun (local) scene to checkout for Sunday brunch, but be ready for a lively scene! It is good at anytime however...
