A great spot for a pizza - especially if you're taking out as it's not the best atmosphere, but the food will make up for that. A large pizza is $16 & up, depending on your topping choices. Slices are $2.75 for just cheese & 75c for each topping. We'll definitely be back for pizza next time we're in the... More

People come, it seems, from all over the world to stand in line for the wildly overrated Grimaldi's, when the best thin-crust pizza in Brooklyn Heights is steps away at the ever reliable Fascati.

Taking visiting friends from Australia on a tour of NYC -- had to take the drive to Fascati's on Henry Street ... Pizza is just like the way I remember it from the 70's, tasty, think crust ... delicious. It floored our friends.

Quick stop for some yummy pizza. They have more on the menu (hero sandwiches, calzones, baked italian dishes), but we went with the single slices of pizza - starting at $2.50 for just cheese. Very few tables for sitting, so we did see a large crowd outside just a little later than our visit.

Cash only. Small pizzeria with very steady traffic. Decent thin crust pizza with good sauce. Basic service, not overly friendly but it is reasonably priced.

My wife and I were staying at the Marriott a few blocks away. We just needed a slice or two of pizza to hold us over until a late dinner. We didn't have time to walk up to Grimaldi's and didn't want the fuss of ordering a whole pizza there anyway. So we just happened to see Fascati and ducked... More

Grabbed some pizza here with a friend - I had both their plain cheese and the white pizza with ricotta. Fabulous! Crust was firm and well cooked - sauce had just the right amount of zest. Can see why they've been here for a while. Would definitely go again - great prices and great food.

Fascati is just a typical pizza-by-the-slice place of the many hundreds all over New York. Don't confuse it with any of the fancy Italian-style pizzerias, but the quality of the pizza is definitely well above average. Service can be pretty slow when it's crowded and they always let cops cut the line.
