Good Neighborhood Thai Restaurant

The food is good at this restaurant, with the usual Thai choices. Ambience is nice, modern, although the noise level was very high, between the music and the acoustics. Service was good, and there is outdoor seating in a pretty area. Prices moderate.

I you happen to be walking down Court street in Brooklyn and feel like Thai food, do yourself a favor and avoid Joya. I was told they served good food and went for lunch, although I didn't see any health rating, and not many customers either. I picked pork dumplings to start (blandest ever) and one of their specials: red... More

I absolutely love Joya. I have been coming here since they opened. They offer consistent, hot, delicious, flavorful food in a very pleasing setting. The bar is long and accommodates multiple guests, the service is expeditious, the food, oh my goodness, the food. Best fried calamari I have ever had. Pad thai with shrimp is my go to but every... 2015 Racism lives well in Brooklyn. I just left Song on 295 5th Ave. Do NOT eat there. The owner sat 3 white couples that came after us ahead of us. I know we were ahead of them because when they each came in they asked us if we were already being helped. We said yes we were signed in... More

Service starts the moment you walk into a restaurant. From the greeting, the attention, to detail, the cleanliness of bathroom, the food, the handling of any concerns, and the attentiveness the customers; It's an entire experience that one considers before deciding whether to return to an establishment or not. Although a Brooklyn gem and often crowded location with comparable food,... More

Nice Thai, descent prices. Loud, friendly and bustling atmosphere. Loved the spicy noodles. Attentive service though somewhat slow to settle the bill.

This restaurant has a reputation for one of the best Thai food restaurants in Brooklyn, and perhaps my expectations were a bit too high. I found the place a bit run down inside but with a nice outdoor area. Food was average- not the best I've had by far. Service was okay, but not very attentive. Perhaps this is simply... More

My sister is quite a big fan of Joya and hence decided to take me here when I was visiting. After a 45 min wait on a Saturday night we were shown to our table. The food was simply amazing! We are vegetarian and found quite a few options to choose from. The staff were friendly and the ambience fun.... More

A great Thai place, and extremely reasonable prices! I had a crispy duck pad Thai for 10 dollars which was huge, and the spring rolls were generous portions too. A small drinks list, but covers most tastes. Joya can get busy, but you put your name down and wait at the bar

No matter what state I have lived in, when coming to NY Joya is a must! If you love Thai food & good drinks come here! This last trip I came to Joya with a large group. We did have to wait awhile, all of your group must be present for them to seat you. Once seated the service was... More
