Frannys was recommended to us by a local we met in a bar - his recommendation was spot on! The restaurant was busy and buzzing when we arrived with people waiting to be seated. We ordered take out from their menu and were not disappointed. The crust was lovely and thin. The topping packed a flavour punch too. Would happily... More

Was really excited when my son in law suggested this. Had read about it in the ny times. Very disappointed , $8 for 2 slices on bread with olive oil Many families but no crayons or paper for kids to,occupy themselves . When we came in there were empty tables but they made us wait for over 10 minutes. Pizza... More

Our 2nd time, and our last. Acoustics made it very hard to hear the conversation with each other, so that alone annoyed us. And it was late and only 1/2 full. Can't image that place busting at the seams. And why is that?? It's become that place with the hour wait, but it's not worth it. The food was very... More

Fried polenta, shrimp, shelling beans and chilies. I usually have a pasta but this dish had my name on it and was great! We've been coming here for years starting with the former location on the same street. Not inexpensive but the creativity and quality of the food is outstanding.

A birthday party planned at Franny's turned out to be a lot of fun and delicious too. Everyone there was helpful and very organized. The menu was family style and it was just the right amount of food -everyone left full but there were no leftovers. All dishes were interesting, creative and tasty. I appreciated the time spent in helping... More

OK.. Franny's is convenient, possibly too convenient so recently we popped in for a quick lunch. the food was adequate if dramatically over salted!! but the price..brother... the price for two small sandwiches and two small glasses of wine was frankly extortionate! AVOID!

This pizza is good, albeit a bit over priced. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our meal when we ate here. The ingredients are very clearly good quality and the dough is cooked thin and crispy to perfection. My husband and I ordered the pizza with olive oil and sea salt to start. I ordered the pizza with olives, potatoes,... More

I have been at Franny's several times and consider it a relatively good restaurant to be recommended. The food is good, no doubt. However, it is probably a bit pretentious and slightly overprized.... The place is also very noisy given it is very often crowded. Ideally one should go there when crowds did not come yet or are already gone,... More

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. The atmosphere is nothing special. The wine and food is overpriced. The pizza was fine but not special. The service was excellent. I suggest getting a pie from a real Brooklyn pizzeria and a bottle of wine for less than half the price and a better meal.
