The baked potato was undercooked and cold. The bread was really stale. The salads were mediocre. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 star was because of their fantastic blue cheese dressing. The staff was really charming and the owner apologized for the baked potato. He offered to make me a better one "next time."

Anyone visiting New York needs to step outside of Manhatten and head to Brooklyn. And if you're doing this first thing in the morning Id suggest going to Daisy's. Sure there is the uber fashionable spots like Egg, but Daisys is old school, simple delicious food served by some of the most lovely people we met. It's where people without... More

After a couple of visits they make you feel you are one of the family; nothing is too much trouble. They are professional, polite, happy - and kind. Why do I say that? Because they go that 'extra mile' to make sure their customers receive the best experience they can offer. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and... More

I absolutely love this place. Every time I visit Park Slope I want to branch out and try new things, but I never do because the food here is so good! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is really clean. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend the eggs blackstone and the tuna melt. I'm told the chocolate... More

My family hadn't been to Daisy's in a while. The booths were changed but the great service and the wonderful food remained the same.

Stopped here twice while visiting the neighborhood overnight. Being from the Midwest where few businesses are older than 25 years old this diner with its original furniture and fixtures was like stepping back in time. First stopped by at 10 p.m. for coffee and their apple crumb cake which was more kind of like a apple pie with a thick... More

Typical diner that sits on top of the subway. I ate here twice during my trip. The occasional rattle beneath your feet isn't too distracting. Portions are big and the prices are reasonable. If you're getting pancakes and home fries, share with someone. Pancakes are plate sized and always hot. Once you're done, walk across the street and catch the... More

This place is an American diner like you imagine they would look like. The food is hearty and very well priced and there is a huge selection to choose from. We ate here on our last night because we couldn't leave Brooklyn without having a real diner experience after all that was one of many reasons we wanted to visit... More
