This is my favourite restaurant in Brooklyn!!! The service is always friendly and efficient. The food is authentic, truly delicious and beautifully presented. All of this is accompanied with an excellent selection of wines. The decor is rustic and charming. Highly recommended and can't wait to go again.

Despite its store-front 5th Avenue location in Brooklyn, Convivium will be one of the best meals you will have in New York. The ambience is romantic and friendly, the service very very attentive without overbearing and the small menu (and big wine list) has many many eclectic yet delicious dishes. You really won't go wrong so try things you have... More

Lovely atmosphere at Convivium. The duck and green apple ravioli (with splinters of freshly grated parmesan) was heaven. The pasta casing was perfectly al dente. The Lamb with pine nuts was perfectly cooked. Off set by great wines by the glass. Our server was serious, gracious and attentive. Will be back when in Brooklyn next.

Besides the warm and welcoming interior of this restaurant, redolent of Lisbon, Portugal, the menu is hardly conventional! I had the sausage-stuffed quail, which had an especially delicious sauce, a serving of rabbit - also savory - and a dessert of blueberries and coconut in a torte-like crust, which I thought the high point of this excellent meal. Unlike others... More

The food was great. Where else can you get braised rabbit, sausage stuffed quail with figs, etc. We wanted to sit on the patio but it was pouring rain so we went downstairs into the wine cellar where are long rustic tables and attentive service. Charming!

Convivium Osteria has everything going for itself--great food, nice decor. Unfortunately service is terrible. There was only one waiter the night we were there and the hostess was no help. Not coming back.

Best italian food I've had outside of Italy. Spinach gnudi and rabbit dish were both to die for. Wine list appears to be carefully selected; we took the waiter's recommendation on an italian white and it paired well with the chosen menu items. Definitely would go back when in the area.

So it poses as an Italian with other influences ,Portuguese and Spanish ,maybe. I reality it's just. Rip off being run by Eastern Europeans who are out to screw you for every penny . Food was bland ,tasteless with no favour at all . My rabbit with polenta was dull and the worst ever polenta that was thin crispy an... More

I have reviewed Convivium before. I recently revisited Convivium and it still is a great romantic spot. Wonderful food, attentive staff and an excellent selection of portuguese, italian and spanish wines. Reservations are a must. Convivium is our top choice for a special occasion.

My wife and I had dinner with friends here and had a great meal- everyone's entrees and all the appetizers were wonderful, and the service and atmosphere were great too. Plus, it is only 2 blocks from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, so its a great place to eat before a game or event there.
