Five of us ate dinner mid-week & savored every morsel from our own & each other's selections! The waiter made many helpful suggestions & catered to our every whim. ( I loved that he also spoke Italian well.) Here's what we ate: proscuitto & burrata cheese, mixed salad, little gnocchi with mushrooms & asparagus (so delicate, so good!), pappardelle pasta... More

The Lunch Prix Fixe can't be beat! You get to choose an appetizer, entree, dessert AND glass of wine for $20!!. I always have the Paccheri alla Norma. It's divine. I have been tempted by the passing dishes of Bistecca (grilled skirt steak with roasted red onions and potatoes) but the Norma with roasted eggplant, tomato, mozzarella and pesto pulls... More

We got there at 7pm with no reservation and they sat us giving us an 8:30 pm exit. It was all we needed. The food was delicious. We shared an artichoke appetizer which was outstanding. I had the squash ravioli as my entre, another had the veal chop and raved and the third had the sea scallops also good. We shared... More

Can't Really Understand Why Reviewers Give This Place An Average Of 4 Stars. Been There A Few Times...Nothing That Special As Far As The FOod Goes...The Service Is Spotty As Best And Fairly Snooty At Times. Aurora In Manhattan Id Far Superior In Every Way...Management Does Make A difference

I'm not that hard to please. On a scale of 0-10, all food is 7-10 for me, especially in nice restaurants where food is almost always edible. Plus, I'm not a picky eater nor do I have the need for ultra complicated,[--] dishes. So why is Aurora great? When you sit in the garden, well, if you can speak Italian,... More

We mad a special trip to Brooklyn to try this restaurant. It is one of our daughter-in-law's favorites. The night we were there it was too warm to sit outside, but the patio looks nice. All meals were excellent, tasty and well presented. Service was also very good. It is worth a try, both for the food and atmosphere.

Went for brunch/ lunch on Saturday and was really pleased. Had great options on the menu. I got the eggs Benedict with salmon, came with crushed potatoes ( home fires) and some greens. Other people with me got the fish with polenta- it was delish however the portion was a little small. It should have come with potatoes, as plate... More

Went there for a Sunday brunch and our reservation was recognized and we were seated promptly. The brunch menu is $15 and includes fresh orange or grapefruit juice, a choice of French toast, several egg dishes and a few Italian specialties as well as coffee or tea. I had the French toast and my wife, the eggs benedict. We both... More
