Delicious food in a romantic atmosphere

Super cute rustic restaurant with a romantic ambience. Love the great glass enclosed outdoor area. Perfect for a romantic date! Delicious and creative Italian food. We stayed a week in New York, and this was the best restaurant we visited! The food was fantastic, so was the wine and the service. Got recomendations from some "locals", - Thank you:-)

Very nice location, wooden tavern style, great staff. Food is delicious. Just pick and enjoy. Only the steak is a European cut and quite small. Great wines, chef consults here very professional.

We had a late lunch at Sunday and it was great! Food is amazing - great selection on Italian dishes with a modern twist. Decor and ambiance were really nice and service was also good. Price was fair. Walking around Williamsburg at Sunday and catching up lunch at the Aurora is a great Sunday break!

Aurora is amazing during mid-seasons thanks to their terrace. The Italian-rustic-like style makes you feel somewhere in Italy, that is why you must try this place above all on Saturday or Sunday mornings for your brunch. The salmon is very good as well as their Italian products. Even the wine is good without being too expensive.

I have eaten here twice and both times wonderful. Favorite starter dishes are the Suppli (risotto croquettes); Crudo di Tonno (tuna tartare); and anything with octopus. All the pasta dishes we ordered were interesting, fresh and savory. The restaurant itself is comprised of a glassed in garden room and an affixed area with a brick wall and old wood floors.... More

Saw this restaurant in an article on buzzfeed about great brunches in NYC and glad I went. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of free parking (midday on a Sunday). There is a main dining room and a solarium type room, which is where we ate. It's decorated to look like a rustic tuscan farmhouse, and... More

This review would have given an excellent rating but the prices are just a little too high for what you're getting. Now, don't get me wrong, the good is great, the drinks wonderfully produced and the staff conscientious. I just resent being charged so much for a side dish and a huge amount for a fish main course.
