Description: Welcome to Juliana’s, a New York-style pizzeria. Juliana’s heralds the return of Patsy & Carol Grimaldi—not only to the NYC restaurant scene, but to the original location under the Brooklyn Bridge where they founded Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. Unbeknownst to many, Pat & Carol ended their association with Grimaldi’s more than a decade ago when they sold the business (along with the name). Even though they were no longer involved in the restaurant, they never lost their passion for serving (and eating) truly great pizza. And so, after many requests from friends and former customers—and a desire to re-live a “dream come true”—they have partnered with a long-time collaborator to establish Juliana’s, a neighborhood pizzeria, preparing and serving pies the way Patsy has for generations. Named in honor of Pat’s mother, Maria ‘Juliana’ Lancieri, Juliana’s occupies 19 Old Fulton Street, in the Fulton Ferry Historic District, in the building that was once home to Grimaldi’s.

The menu items are expensive - high priced - costly. The pizza is passing fair - decent, OK, good. Clearly not the best and not in the same league as DiFara or a bunch of other places. The location is newly renovated and it looks like they re trying to get the renovation cost back quickly - the prices are... More

Crossed over the Brooklyn bridge early in the evening and spent some time absorbing the Manhattan skyline from afar! And then, just around the corner, was this place! Was immediately welcomed outside by this friendly Italian-American gentleman who promised us "excellent pizza" ... we thought we'd take him up on his challenge! And he certainly delivered - certainly a top... More

Having been to Grimaldi's we decided to go here for some lunch. Got a table straight away and pizza arrived within around 20 mins. Service was great.

Service was excellent. Even Patsy Grimaldi (sp?) was making rounds and stopped the table a couple of times to chat. Very homey feel. The pizza was shy of it's hype though. Not sure Grimaldi's next door would have been a better choice. We went on a recommendation of a friend and according to some of the reviews we saw, it... More

In the battle of the best NYC Pizza we considered two contenders: Lombardi's and Juliana's. Didn't consider Grimaldi's because we all know Juliana's is the real deal. Lombardi's was great, in fact we loved it, but in all aspects Juliana's was a little better. Sauce slightly more flavoursome, crust just a bit better. We went around 3pm on a Sunday... More

I heard there was a fantastic pizza place in Brooklyn close to the bridge so after an amazing walk over the Brooklyn bridge my girlfriend and I had worked up an appetite and thought we need to try this place. When we got there we discovered there were two pizza places right beside one and other. But we had no... More

Pasty Grimiladi runs Juliana's. Forget Grimaldi's next door. This is the best pizza in a beautiful location under the Brooklyn Bridge! Wonderful service, atmosphere and food. Great to walk around and enjoy beautiful view of Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridge. Price is great. Parking can be a challenge, but that is always true in NYC. Highly recommend and say hi to... More

After reading the reviews, we decided to head to Brooklyn. Food is Good - it is actually really good - just not quite 100%. Probably because it was kind of expensive for what it was and the cokes were very small - and at $3.00 per bottle, it adds up. I would go back, but would probably avoid ordering sodas.... More
