Description: Antica Pesa opened in Rome in 1922 and since then has been run by the same family. After 90 years of success in our country we decide to open this new venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to bring to US the experience of our cousine. Menu is a twist on tradition, where classic roman dishes are reworked using local products, mainly organic. We have a wide selection of dished suitable for vegetarian or vegan and also gluten free.

We had a reservation for 8 people and had to wait about 20 minutes for our table to be ready(not a big deal at all). When we got to our table it was a "large" round booth and it was very cramped for 8 people. There was a party of 6 sitting behind us at a combo of chairs and... More

Seriously, you don't even need to look at the menu... Let them bring you their best dishes of the night. You won't be disappointed. We just returned from Antica Pesa (Rome) with a new appreciation for Antica Pesa (Brooklyn), because the food, the atmosphere, and the reception at both locations is simply the best. The restaurants are born of the... More

Swarming with handsome Italians. ....oh, and the food was very good too. Everything was superb. Beautiful and special decor. Warm and inviting. The staff was attentive but not cloying. They seemed to really care that we have a good time. They served very professionally but at the same time they were laid-back and friendly and sometimes funny. The mozzarella wrapped... More

Went there to celebrate my daughter's graduation from NYU. Hostess was very welcoming, we sat a the bar while waiting for our daughter and the bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an amazing meal. The crudo is a must. The pastas: cacio e pepe and carbonara were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The lamb was delicious. We loved... More

Modern, beautiful decor and atmosphere. Professional and courteous service. The food was amazing. Better than restaurants that I've been to in Rome!

We went with three couples to Antica Pesa last Thursday night. In the hundreds of restaurants I've eaten at I don't remmber many where the owners have greeted me with such warmth, attended to my every need and been so hospitable. Francesco, Lorenzo and Gabriele, our server and manager were phenomenal. They catered to our every need and made the... More

Very welcoming from the start. Beautifully designed space, excellent food, originally prepared with traditional ingredients, excellent wine. No pretensions but very attentive friendly service. Only complaint is that after 9 the music (not live) got to the level that it was hard to have a comfortable conversation.

The owner takes personal pride in hosting the place and serving the guest. The food is honestly Italian. After discussing my preferences I had something custom prepared just for me. A wonderful experience. The owner is the typical good kind if crazy which seems standard for an Italian abroad. And that's where's the four stars instead of the five. Antice... More

Finally made it to this "celeb spot" on a Saturday night with no reservation. Place looks warm and inviting but table are really close to each other. Definetely more a manhattan feel than Williamsburg. Service was good although they brought a dish we didn't order. However, they offered a drink because the shrimp crespella was cold. Menu features some classic... More
