Weekly Thai

It became our weekly Thai restaurant since we back living in NY. Place is very clean, food is delicious, and staff is very friendly! It's a small place but just perfect to make you feel very comfortable. Love it!

We went out with some friends with kids for New Year's Eve dinner. I have to say, for NY city, for anywhere really they have 5-star service with a smile, and for that reason alone they are worth the visit. When it comes to food though, I found their offerings to be a bit bland. The chicken satay was ok.... More

Born Thai is a lovely restaurant with amazing Thai food. We spent a week in New York and ate there twice. The food is delicious, I couldn't have enough of the Papaya Salad, it was wonderful. Pad Thai, soups, Crab Cake were also very delicious. The staff is very friendly and organized. The food was prepared very quickly. Special thanks... More

Their thai food is out of this world. I usually have the grilled salmon with pineapple fried rice and string beans. So delish. The ambiance of the restaurant is modernly beautiful. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Price is pretty ok. Amazing place over all

Born serves up some delicious Thai food! Our group sampled the crispy rolls, chicken satay, the se-ew noodles, basil fried rice, and panang curry. All really well executed with authentic flavours ringing true. And don't forget to try the cocktails - they don't serve liquor (vodka, etc) but make some delicious sake cocktails.

There was no plan to go there - we came upon it walking in Brooklyn looking for a quick meal before a show. Fortunately we were early enough on a saturday, no reservations, lots of space. Pad thai, chicken dishes, pineapple rice, papaya salad were all outstanding - the pad thai in particular was so good (and this is a... More

The name of this place is BORN THAI, and I had lunch here despite the xenophobic sounding name. I had the lunch prix-fixe for $9: salad, choice of appetizer and main course. I selected the “crispy roll” and basil chicken. I also ordered a bottle of Chang beer as it was the daily mid-day special at only $4. The salad... More

This quaint little Thai restaurant in the heart of Prospect Park, Brookyln is worth every penny. I had the green papaya salad -- a personal favorite -- and the pad thai was excellent. Last but not least, don't miss out on the sticky mango rice for dessert. It was the cherry to top off the entire meal. Really good restaurant!!!

I went there on a Monday night around 6:00 PM with a friend, we sat inside although they do have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. I think we arrived early and beat the regular dinner crowd, we were able to find a table right away. The restaurant itself is very small and the decor is very dark with green and... More
