The concept is great but for a 1000 $ check, it's definitely not worth it and the no photo policy is a nonsense. The chef is watching like a hawk, which is quite amusing, especially when he makes diva-like faces. I can't say anything bad about the food becase it was good and there was nothing wrong with it but only... More

It's quite difficult to review a place like this. Or maybe not...the thing is- place, food, wine, staff- all that is extraordinary, however among extraordinaries it's quite lame and may leave you feeling dissapointed. Foreplay includes difficult reservation process, strict dress code, no photos policy, small number of people and 3 star chef and that will turn you on without... More

To the comment below, We had reservation at 9:30 pm we were seated next to a couple who wrote the review "STAY AWAY". They had three phones and an iPad on the table. Not only that, they were watching you tube videos with the volume on high, that was kind of rude since we wanted to listen to the waiter... More

Food is overrated. More importantly, chef is mean, manager is ridiculosuly rude. Michelin star represents gracious service and good food. Brooklyn fare is the anthesis of this. The chef sits on such a high horse that even if the food is acceptable it became inedible. No guest who pays 400 bucks per person deserves such treatment. Stay away from the... More

I was particularly curious with the 20-seating format seating at the kitchen which is why I opted to go to Brooklyn Fare over Per Se and the likes. It's a decision that I do not regret! The entrance was nondescript but everything else was excellent. I really enjoyed watching my dinner prepared and was pleasantly surprised that Chef Cesar Ramirez... More

Just wonderful. Amazing food Only a tasting menu. A few interesting presentations but overall it was more about the food than the style. Superb quality of the products. Such flavours! Very professional. Strickt dress code. Forbidden to take foto's. Very difficult to reserve. Can't wait to go back.

With three Michelin stars and a hefty pre fixe price point, we were primed for a spectacular evening. The food was extraordinary, but would be a problem for anyone who doesn't like raw fish. However, the tone for the evening was set by rudest, unattentive sommelier I have ever encountered. As we were discussing our choice with him, he walked... More

I went to chefs table with zero expectations after having a very VERY poor three michelin star experience in NYC the day before and I was pleasantly surprised. The main chef (bald dude) wasn't very friendly and had an attitude but he knew how to cook, so there are no complaints in that department. Other reviewers mentioned that staff were... More

This is one of the best Italian food I have ever tried! Expensive though ($300 per person), but you have to understand the value for money - it's a Michelin restaurant! Every little bite was so complex and so elevated.Chef Ramirez is a visionary and he ensures all of his patrons enjoy what is being served, definitely very serious about... More

Celebrating my birthday with my special someone at Chef's Table was truly an amazing experience, especially since I have a love for food. The reservations are truly hard to come by, they take them 6 weeks in advance and the phone line is literally busy for hours. Very lucky that my boyfriend knew how much I've wanted to try Chef's...
