Ordered the hot antipasto. It was delicious. The bread as hot - just the way I like it. We ordered entrees of chicken parmagina with ziti. Whole wheat pasta with grilled chicken, and meat ball parmagina. All agreed their entrees were very good. When we are in Brooklyn this is one of our go to restaurants.

They have the best fried calamari we've ever had. My husband and I love calamari and have ordered it in many, many restaurants. None come close to the fried calamari here. We have brought dozens of friends there and everyone agrees it's the best. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

If you are near Coney Island and wondering where all the terrific old style Italian restaurants have gone- this is your place. We've been here twice now - this second time is 8 months later and the waitress remembered us. The menu has a variety of red sauce dishes- which are excellent. My daughter had linguine bolonese which was rich... More

Just fantastic food. Their regular pizza is good certainly not the best that you can find in Brooklyn. That being said their specialty pizzas are just fantastic. I highly recommend the al vodka pizza. The entrees are not typical Pizzeria fair but truly restaurant quality. The service is good and the owners Mike and Rose are just some of the... More

Stopped by while in Brooklyn. The pizza here is much better than New York City. They also have great specials which are written and described on a chalk board. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Placed an order of fried calamari, rice balls, potatoe croquettes and then 16 individual orders . from steak to pasta to chicken parmigiiana to chicken francese, shrimp parmagana, chicken arsale, veal sorrentino, chicken sorrentino. The gentlemen who took the order took his time, and repeated the order back to me. The food was on time like the gentlemen said. The... More

I ordered the chicken special that had portobello mushrooms, fantastic red sauce and zucchini. It came with the house salad. The Italian bread was hot and fresh. The portion was so large I took half home. They have a wide selection of pizzas to choose from. They are also made fresh. When I am in Brooklyn I always eat at... More

La Casa Bella, located in the Gravesend/Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn on Cropsey Avenue, is a real, authentic Italian restaurant. Living in Brooklyn all of my life, I have eaten at many Italian restaurants and I can say that La Casa Bella is one of the best (if not THE best). It's not a very large place, but it is spacious... The food is not Italian and the owner is, if you want real Italian food do not eat there. It is Americana Italian at best A step above a pizzeria
