Very fun ! !

Last Friday we enjoyed this experience so much! First with a party of six it worked perfect. We made check marks on the menu for the eight dishes - which was the perfect amount of food for six smaller appetites. They surprised us with an extra dessert. Traif is a funky, small plates restaurant in hipster Williamsburg, Brooklyn. it's small, noisy but fun. you settle in, order a bunch of dishes, which in turn show up randomly over the next hour or so. you sit, sip a drink, chat up a storm until one of these unique, wonderfully tasty dishes arrive. I think it's perfect for taking... More

Loved it. Original dishes with a playful twist. (My favourite was the doughnut with bacon) First visit to NY and was definitely a highlight of the trip.

Wonderful food and service. great place to have exceptional food with some friends. They are always able to accommodate my gluten allergy and are well educated about it as well. The scallops dish is always my favorite. The only thing I would say is that they are in need of a renovation.

Cozy location, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent dishes. What to ask more? A while passed from my last visit in December so I can't remember all my courses but I like to speak out how nice it was. A forced lap on every flight to NYC. See you soon!

The food was great, and a wonderful selection. The wait staff was great, fast and knowledgable. Will absolutely come again. The selection of menu selections for health conscious guests was also great.

Was really amped up on this spot regarding the reviews on TA and other sites online. We made a reservation and showed up on time. The restaurant is tiny as are many in NYC and the surrounding areas and I usually love the vibe and energy in these kinds of chef driven restaurants. We were seated immediately next to the... More

I would suggest making a booking, we didn't and luckily got the last table for dinner but I wouldn't risk it - you don't want to miss out on this little gem. The cocktails were amazing and everything we ordered was delicious. Service was top notch and the place had a very cool vibe to it. I highly recommend getting... More

Had wanted to dine at Traif for some time so last Saturday we called to make a reservation for dinner, only to be told that there were no tables available and we were offered a table at their other restaurant Xixa (same Chef, next door but not same cuisine). On our way to Xixa we passed by Traif and noticed... More
