I love mexican food. With so many options around the city it is really easy to get dissapointed or get a fake mexican food, but at Fonda you get the real mexican foodand fresh. Even the tortillas are home made. Flautas are one of my favorite dirh from the happy hour menu ( wich is one of the best food... More

My family had been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite some time. It was a nice night so we sat on the outside patio. The setting was nice but the chairs were very uncomfortable. We were seated against the fence so it was hard to get in and out from the table. The guacamole was delicious but not... More

I've been to this restaurant now a few times, as some family lives in Brooklyn and it is one of their favorites. Every time, I've had an really wonderfully delicious meal. From the fresh-made guacamole, to the varieties of margaritas (happy hour prices available only at the bar seats, FYI!) to the entrees (both dinner and brunch, on past visits.)... More

Delicious meal in a cool little place. We shared a salad and a duck appetizer. Then we had the shrimp and scallops and the flank steak. Everything was 5 stars.

I met friends here upon recommendation and was not disappointed. I arrived early to check out their happy hour - great value between drinks and appetizers! The food both at happy hour and for the meal was extremely fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

The Margaritas are great - different variants to choose from and we tried most of them! The food is tasty, but a lot of black bean influence. My skirt stake was fine, so may depend on the day (see lunahod review). The guacamole is fresh and different - if you have a sensitive palate don't order it "hot". Restaurant seating... More

My worst restaurant experience ever - just happened a few days ago in this "restaurant": The food - terrible. The waiters - rude and despondent. The atmosphere- Horrific! Don't eat here!

Went to Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Found our way to Fonda in Park Slope neighborhood afterward. Everyone loved their food and the friendly neighborhood vibe. Gourmet enough to be unique and delicious, but not so far away from traditional to take it away from being Mexican. Waiter recommended the pollo norteña. Wow. Glad I took his advise. And don't miss the... More
