I had eaten at the restaurant several times and had pleasant experiences. When we arrived on the most recent visit, the inside tables were practically empty. We asked the waitress if it was ok to sit at a particular table and she said it would be fine. We had just been seated when the host comes up and says in... More

We lived on Kane Street for many years and watched a couple restaurants come and go. Pleasant corner space with outdoor seating; cozy back room. Good choice for a somewhat splurge-y night out; service is highly competent without being obtrusive, and the food is prepared with care and attention. Entrees as described sound a trifle twee but trust me, they... More

Laid back, cool, unpretentous yet hip restaurant/bar. Very reasonably priced drinks and a good pour too. My wife had a beet martini which she totally enjoyed. The tuna tartare and seared sea scallops are top notch. As good as it gets for what you pay. Highly recommended!!

I discover W&M while walking around Cobble Hill on my very first night in Brooklyn. I love lobster but I was cautious about what I could expect, however, the cold lobster salad on corn fritter was fantastic. W&M has a wonderful atmosphere helped in part by its tasteful decor and friendly but efficient staff. I brought friends over a couple... More

This Cobble Hill neighborhood has a theatre I like to frequent but there were no good restaurants around. Well, now there is Watty & Meg. I walked in one evening after a show to grab something quick and ended up taking my time with a superb meal and glass of wine. I plan to become a regular.

My sister and I came out for lunch because a friend of hers opened the place a few years back. Yummy! Everything was fantastic... An eclectic menu full of complimentary flavours. We will definitely make this a regular stop for food when we come to the city.

Liked this spot. Had a few appetizers. Surprisingly the burger wontons in truffle oil was amazing.

We went here for a recent date night and had a great time. The special was braised pork shank over swiss chard with a fennel, potato, and parsnip puree on the side. We both ordered it, and it was wonderful. And huge. I also had a beet juice cocktail which was amazing. All in all, we were very pleased.

I really like this place. They lost a point because the food and service are good EXCEPT for the fact that every time we go, they fail to give us the free bread that we see on other tables nearby. We've gotten it before so we know it's free, but they have a terrible system and we rarely get it.... More

The three of us had burgers, crab cakes, and the beet and BLT salads which were fabulous!!! It was a warm evening and the draft beer was perfect.
