This is a fun little spot with a great tin roof. My wife and I both ordered the Mac and Cheese but added bacon and it made all the difference! Wait staff was great and it was a good little getaway in the afternoon.

This restaurant is good, but not remarkable, and not someplace that I would recommend among all of the possible eateries and bars in this particular neighborhood. My husband and I only frequent here because its location is convenient. The atmosphere is nice, the food is reliably on-point (albeit the portions are on the smaller side), and the cocktails are well... More

A nice neighborhood place. Food was fresh and good. The cocktails were excellent, wine list was small but covered the bases. Only issue was the willingness of the other employees to ignore you and leave the one busy waitress on her own. I would go there again, just make sure you make eye contact!

We went there for lunch. Four adults and 3 young kids all under 4.5. The crew did a great job of getting the food quickly for the young ones and taking care of the rest of us in a timely manner. The food was not memorable, but the visit was pleasant. We will return.

Came here recently and wasn't necessarily impressed by anything, but everything was fine. The service was good, I had a good experience with the hostess stand as they were very accomodating. They had a tap for a beer that I liked that they told me they were out of and I didn't like that. It was a Friday night and... More

A Brooklyn evening with a friend and her fabulous daughter led us to Watty and Meg, a pretty tiled floor, bar style restaurant on a corner in Brooklyn. Cute marquee across the street for current movies and several restaurants on Court Street. It was pouring outside and I was glad to sit and relax in this elegant bar setting. My... More

I had eaten at the restaurant several times and had pleasant experiences. When we arrived on the most recent visit, the inside tables were practically empty. We asked the waitress if it was ok to sit at a particular table and she said it would be fine. We had just been seated when the host comes up and says in... More

We lived on Kane Street for many years and watched a couple restaurants come and go. Pleasant corner space with outdoor seating; cozy back room. Good choice for a somewhat splurge-y night out; service is highly competent without being obtrusive, and the food is prepared with care and attention. Entrees as described sound a trifle twee but trust me, they... More

Laid back, cool, unpretentous yet hip restaurant/bar. Very reasonably priced drinks and a good pour too. My wife had a beet martini which she totally enjoyed. The tuna tartare and seared sea scallops are top notch. As good as it gets for what you pay. Highly recommended!!

I discover W&M while walking around Cobble Hill on my very first night in Brooklyn. I love lobster but I was cautious about what I could expect, however, the cold lobster salad on corn fritter was fantastic. W&M has a wonderful atmosphere helped in part by its tasteful decor and friendly but efficient staff. I brought friends over a couple... More
