Elegant, agreeable and friendly

There are, it seems, 4,515 restaurants in New York's largest (and to me most interesting) borough. I was far from feeling great the morning we went in there - usual jet-lag, bloody awful cold. No fun at all. The place is small, elegant and very beautiful. People very agreeable. Nice music... read more

Just stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring Brooklyn. It had a nice atmosphere and good service. My husband enjoyed his burger and definitely would eat here again. I was a little less impressed by my chicken salad sandwich. Soup wasn't warm enough for my taste. Also was a bit pricey. I won't be a repeat customer, but my husband probably... More

Had brunch here today. We had the Brussel sprout/poached egg hash and a French toast with whipped cream and berries. The french toast was made out of a croissant! Food was very good but a bit overpriced as bill with tip but no drinks was $42!

This is a nice corner restaurant on Court Street in the middle of Brooklyn. The day we were there the weather was beautiful, so the large windows were open leaving one feeling like we were dining outside even though we were inside. The service was very good and the lunch we ordered (tuna tartar and a chicken dish) were very... More

First of all, each ingredient in our food choices was fresh and prepared exceptionally well. I always try a new dish when I am in Brooklyn visiting my daughter and her family. Since I am not a risotto fan, simply asking the waiter to substitute fresh veggies resulted in a cauliflower puree with my swordfish. Could eat this every day!!... More

Came in here with our son and DIL. They live one block away and frequent this spot often. The restaurant is charming, seemingly indoors but open to the street. Specials are listed on a blackboard. My husband had soft shell crab which was the special of the night. It was very good but a small serving. I had a quinoa... More

We had the burgers which were very good. The place has booths and the doors open up exposing the place to the outside. If feels and looks like a cozy picnic.

What a great restaurant and bar. It really felt like an English pub to me. We went for dinner with 10 people and the service was great - As was the food. The pureed Cauliflower was one of the greatest things I've ever tasted!! The cheeseburger and fries were also outstanding. I would absolutely eat there again!

This is a fun little spot with a great tin roof. My wife and I both ordered the Mac and Cheese but added bacon and it made all the difference! Wait staff was great and it was a good little getaway in the afternoon.

This restaurant is good, but not remarkable, and not someplace that I would recommend among all of the possible eateries and bars in this particular neighborhood. My husband and I only frequent here because its location is convenient. The atmosphere is nice, the food is reliably on-point (albeit the portions are on the smaller side), and the cocktails are well... More
