Everything one enjoys about a neighborhood trattoria/pizzeria. Welcoming and efficient service from the time you walk in and often have to put your name on a waiting list. Friendly service, delicious food on ever changing menu. Wonderful original and traditional pizzas as well as non-pizza main dishes and vegetable sides. Really good selection of beers. Eggs, pancakes and french toast... More

I live up the block & around the corner... This is our regular friday night date spot. We always order a carafe of the House Red or White, A couple of App's, & a Pizza! Great food and the service gets better & better as the years pass :)

Had a wonderful pizza the first night and had to go back again! Second visit a different pizza - equally as good, plus the calamari which was wonderful. The tiramasu was mouth watering and all went down well with their good house wine. Excellent service, Italian waiters, hospitable owner Eduardo. Will definitely make a return trip when we eventually get... More

The atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious! I was staying in an apartment in Bed Stuy and had no idea where to have dinner, that is until Foursquare suggested this little place a few blocks away. It was well worth the walk. The pizza is fantastic, the spaghetti is heavenly! It's also CASH only, but there is an... More

I went there to have a dinner now this evening. Had the calamari for a starter and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It was just ok, little bit overcooked I thought. Then I had one of the "Piatti Del Giorno" a hanger steak with grilled scallions and potatoes and Cabernet Sauvignon. The meat was perfectly cooked but a little bit... More

stayed in an apartment in Bed Stuy - neighborhood is a bit challenging - but although 'off the beaten track' - this restaurant made up for everything. Fabulous pizzas, great atmosphere and very gluggable house wine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just remember cash - they dont take cards. Well worth seeking out.

We three arrived late 9:45 weekday night for one of their pizza fixes. After a short wait we were escorted through the length of their serving rooms passing by the hectic kitchen. No shortage of buzz and people enjoying their meals and one another. Pizzas were good but a bit bland in our collective estimation. Would happily return to sample... More

We were highly recommended this place as "an authentic Italian" by our hosts when staying in Brooklyn for a week with our 3 year old, and tried it on our first night. Our little one is very fussy when it comes to food but usually does well with Italian as she loves pasta, olives, breadsticks, etc. so thought we'd do... More

Our group visited Saraghina while staying in Brooklyn for the week. It was an easy walk from our brownstone and we had heard such great things we decided to give it a try. I must say I was somewhat disappointed. We were seated in a back room that seriously was like a sauna. It was so hot it was hard... More
