You need to try the swingles! Mini key-lime pies + chocolate = AMAZING! There is also a cute garden nearby and a nice path to walk near the water in the area.

If you are adventuring in one of Brooklyn's best neighborhoods Red Hook this place is a hidden gem. Follow the signs and the food traffic to Steve's on a nice day, go in buy a frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick then go outside to the park next to the Steve's and sit on the grass... This is THE BEST, most authentic Key Lime Pie around. Steve only uses Key Limes which are truly hard to find. He makes small individual pies and regular sized pies as well. In addition he makes these awesome pie-on-a-stick which is key lime pie which is coated in chocolate and frozen on a stick. There is white, dark and chili... More

This is the place to buy the famous Key lime pie. It was very good, tasted as it should even if a bit too sweet for my taste. They were helpful to slice our pie on the spot as the kids couldn't wait to try. More then half was gone within no time! As the sign inside underline, this is... More

We had decided to take a trip to Red Hook to support some of the businesses damaged by Hurricane Sandy and Steve's Authentic Key Lime Pies was on our list to try. According to a recent article in a Foodie magazine, Al Roker has apparently described the pies as the last remaining authentic key lime pies in the US. It... More

We did not have the pie, which my son says is wonderful. We had the frozen, dark chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick! Yep, a four inch key lime pie with a graham cracker crust covered in dark chocolate and frozen. No Eskimo bar ever tasted like this. This has to be a bucket list item. But it... More

Delicious key lime pies.. authentic, not the artificial green stuff that passes for Key Lime pie. Refreshing limenade. Walk to the adjacent park, which has a view of the Statue of Liberty.

Many restaurants serve a green colored pie dessert that is called key lime pie, but isn't. Steve's lives up to its name - authentic and delicious. They are moving, so the store will change from my visit. We ate ours sitting in a little park, looking at the East River and admiring the view. I can't wait to go back.

This key lime pie is the best thing even when compared to many that we have had in the Florida Keyes. They also deliver to the city! That is what I call fabulous.

Charming maritime Florida atmosphere. Perfect key lime pie. Love it. Stopped by while exploring new and interesting neighborhoods that have a desire to provide things to us, the "consumer" with actual, honestly cared about products that are appealing and which call to mind exotic, distant places the average guy has no money or time to go to. I love key... More
