Went to Bogota on my monthly trip to Brooklyn. First time visit and will definitely be back. Being Colombian, I grew up on many of the plates offered on the menu. I went right after the authenticity by having an Aguila beer, steak empanada, and a nice healthy bowl of Sancocho. Don't tell mom, but it was extremely close. Finished... More

This place has an outstanding ambiance, and offers tasty, authentic South American food and amazing mixed drinks, provided with great service at surprisingly reasonable prices. I was surprised that a menu with such authentic Latin American cuisine could still accommodate for a variety of dietary restrictions common in the US today, which made this a great place for a large... We were looking for a place to eat during our stay in Brooklyn and happened to find this place. It was great find! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service and the prices were good. We like it so much we went back a second time. Everything we ate was excellent.

This place is always hopping. And there are a number of reasons. The crowd is a mix of young hipsters, saavy Hispanics, and folks who just like good food. And the food is varied, from wonderful Central American empanadas (we tried the special, 4 for $16, a value and a treat). But the menu is wide, with many dishes from... More

I had the garlic chicken and it was sooo good. The perfect balance of spice, texture, and taste. It was so good, I wanted to order a second serving. But you get half a bird so there was no way I could eat that much food. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is fun and lively. If I... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, specially the latino music I'm so fond of. The watermelon mojitos were refreshing and the fried plantains reminiscent of a sweet fried dessert. Large helpings and plenty of variety made choosing a pleasure. All of the agony of eating out faced by gluten free diners is done away with here - there are... More

My friend and I had a terrific lunch here recently. The restaurant is casual with charm and truly friendly and excellent service. Oh and the food was fresh and tasty. We loved the arapa with avocado salad (among other dishes).

Local Brooklyn restaurant that allows GF diners to enjoy Latin food without worry. Staff was amazing, helpful in guiding the novice with the food. Ian, Nathan and the hostess made us feel at home. Sampled classic dishes of empanadas and arepas with pork chicharron will become a NYC visit must.

OMG! MY SO has been raving about this place for so long. Finally we ventured into Brooklyn to feast on South American Latin food, and I was not disappointed. Easy access from Manhattan to the Barclay Center station, then straight down 5th Avenue. The place is not large, but I think that's what make it more cozy and fun. We... More
