Awesome Sicilian dishes. Rice balls are off the hook. I think they have Manhattan special on tap here. If you don't know what that is skip it but if you have a taste for authentic Sicilian specialties try this place out.

Wonderful filling Sicilian food without the frills. I love everything they have especially their Arancini and spiedini ... Made fresh and enjoy with a Manhattan soda or 2. Yummy hidden jewel off the beaten path.

Ferdinando's is true, authentic Sicilian food. I've been eating there for over 50 years! My favorite is the Frutti di mare (mixed seafood salad), followed by a Panelle Special sandwich!!! Their riceball special is also fantastic. If you are really adventurous, try the vastedda sandwich. That's a spleen sandwich....definitely an acquired taste. Everything on the menu is freshly made, and... More

I love talking to the locals. I always get the low-down on all those hidden gems around NY & BK. After a chat with a local antiques dealer, His Lordship and I made the 40 minute trek down to Ferdinandos. After all, if it was good enough for Frank Sinatra, then it was going to be good enough for us.... More

Popped in here as part of a tour. The arancini and cannoli we tried were really good. Simple, authentic flavours. Mmmm.

Best chick pea panneles around. Also Manhattan Special(coffee soda) on tap. Only place I have ever seen that has it on tap. Great rice balls. Staple of downtown brooklyn.

Ferdinando’s. Beyond excellent. The best Italian food I have ever had. Possibly the best food I have ever had. The veal, is like butter. The sauce (gravy, whatever you prefer to call it) is smooth, so, soo, sooo smooth. The cannoli. Heaven. The coffee… prepare to be up all night, baby. And the portions are generous, so there is no...
