We went there with a dozen friends and we had drinks and starters and a few entrees. The ambiance is nice. The restaurant is not very clean but ok ... The problem is when you get the check. They only accept cash. And their ATM only deliver $100, twice ... And the drinks are not given. 3 Caipirinha jars +... More

Didn't feel like waiting 90 minutes to get into Peter Lugers for lunch so we started walking. Found this cute local place practically under the bridge. Quaint, rustic decor. Good home style Brazilian food. My 3 companions all had steak picanha. I had fish. with my fish I had fried bananas & couve(collard greens) actually kale. Loved the way it... More

I normally don't write reviews, but I can't keep myself from expressing how disappointed I am with the treatment I keep receiving when I go to miss favela. I love the live music. The decor is amazingly creative and authentic, it really mirrors the "boutequim type" restaurant of Brazil. The food is good, a little grease, but is very over... More

I am a huge fan of the Brazilian soccer team. In Finland we are as far of the Brazilian fan culture as it gets. I got to see the Brazil-Chile game in Miss Favela for the 2014 World Cup. What an atmosphere! The bar was packed, the band was playing, people were dancing. I did not have a chance to... More

We loved the lively Brazilian vibes of Miss Favela so much so that we felt like we were in Brazil and completely forgot that we were in NY! Staff were great! Live music from 5pm.

I'm brazilian, so once in a while I have the itch to listen to live Brazilian music, shake my booty while drinking caipirinhas in the most Brazilian setting possible outside of Brazil. Miss Favela does the job but that's about it. The place is extremely small and it gets over packed , the service is absolutely horrendous, they treat you... More

Miss Favela was a averaged priced restaurant/bar in williamsburg brooklyn but as soon as it built a name out of rumors they hiked their price up. Pitchers of Caipirinhas went from $35 to $50 the price of everything else including the food increased significantely. I went for new years and what stood out most was they charged me $6 for... More

Yup, it is tiny, it is loud because they have, by the way, an excellent 6 person band enclosed in a very small place. The food and drinks are the best brazilian food in town, but it is not fancy. Yes, they ask you politely for your table after you finish your drinks and meal. Perhaps the owners should think... More
