A friend took me for a casual dinner at Five Leaves, simple, not particularly aspirational location, but the queues must be there for a reason we thought. So in typical tourist tradition we waited, but were seated pretty quickly in the outside pavement terrace. We ordered the Five Leaves Burger and after 15 minutes or so we got it. Thick... More

Had lunch here with my husband and our daughter (currently living in NYC) on a sunny day last week. Had to wait ten minutes whilst late breakfasters finished up, but the very on the ball manageress came and fished us out of the street and had us seated in no time. At our daughter's recommendation with had a number of... More

This restaurant was worth the trip to Brooklyn from Manhattan. I had the scrambled eggs with chickpeas and moroccan sausage over a crunchy sour dough slice of bread. My husband had the pancakes with fresh fruit. This was the second time visiting this restaurant and I would definitely go again. I loved the vintage vibe with the vinyl turntable playing... More

We got there on a chilly Saturday (very late) morning and had to wait maybe 20 minutes. But it was worth it. I chickened out and did not have the Bloody Mary (too early for me) or any other cocktail (the bison vodka one sounded very enticing) settling lamely for hot tea. Not so my companions. In any case, the... More

This place rocks! The food is super, you get it fast and the prices are good. I ate a veggie burger and had their delicious truffel fries with it. Both awesome! The service was very nice and fast even though the place was packed. The restaurant is on a nice area and the atmosphere of the place cool and relaxed.... More

This little neighbourhood gem is always packed, tried scoring a table for brunch on a sunday but the wait was more than a hour...couldn't wait too hungry. Came back for lunch on a Monday and it was still packed...almost like their Brunch from sunday was still in full swing!! Anyway managed to squeeze in with a minimal 10 min. wait,... More

This is my favorite restaurant near Williamsburg. Be warned you have to go early, as it fills up very quickly. The food is great. I highly recommend the Morrocan Scramble for brunch. Or the Bircher Muesli.

If you beat the rush (say, before 11) it is possible to avoid the line, but otherwise expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seated at the weekend. However, like the other reviewers of Five Leaves, do it! It's certainly worth the wait! Everything on the menu, based on my less than subtle observations of others choices,... More

The food is incredible and service was great, I highly recommend the burger and truffle fries for any meal and the bacon wrapped dates were AMAZING as appetizers!! The location is great for people watching and the restaurant has coffee to go, which seems very popular so it must be great coffee. The only bummer was the wait, luckily we... More
