Brooklyn has great food and Five Leaves is one of those restaurants that make Greenpoint such a wonderful place to dine at. The ingrediants range from black garlic, to fiddleheads to celery root to Dorade to rabbit. You get a bit of everything and it's definitely a crowd pleaser for those that want to eat from farm to table cuisine.... More

I am visiting Brooklyn and was recommended to go to Five Leaves. Glad I did. Sunday night was buzzing but we still managed to get a table. Service was fast and friendly and the drinks and food arrived without delay. We were all hungry after a long walk round Manhattan during the day and the food really hit the spot.... More

2 weeks after eating at Five Leaves I am still thinking about it and telling friends to go--that's a rarity. The combination of cozy-funky atmosphere and solid food is amazing. Interesting cocktails. Tasty apps that show real variety. Entrees that showcase locally sourced ingredients with great fresh flavors. And a price point that does not break the bank. I would... More

I had an amazing braised beef here, it was really delicious. Service was not outstanding but it was ok. Totally worth a try.

Good food nothing outstanding, I had the chicken main dish and kale salad. I would definitely come back and explore the menu further.

Firstly, we felt instantly cool and hip dining here on a casual, yet busy Wednesday mid-morning. Although busy, the service was quick and spot on! Now on to the food - there is so much to choose from, for either breakfast, brunch or lunch but the decisions we both made were spot on. And from looking around at the other... More

When I say Red Hot I mean Red Hot. Just flown in from the UK and met up with my two daughters - one in from Uni in Missouri and the other in from London. Friendly Food though I did see the chef outside at one stage with a big knife in his pocket but no customers had been killed... More

This was a great choice for atmosphere and food. My daughter and I both had the burgers which way perfectly cooked and delicious. They had an extra special flavor with harissa mayo that was just the right touch of spiciness. They came with fresh-cut fries. My daughter had the truffle fries which were extra special. The restaurant is packed with... More

Where should I begin, I love everything! The ricotta pancakes are delicious, the burger with pineapple and beets is amazing, the eggs are fluffy and the ricotta appetizer is mouth watering. They have outside seating, but expect to have a long wait bc the place is small.
