The best granola, yogurt and fresh fruit I have ever had! Service is great! Lentil soup put me in the mood to ice skate around the corner.
Stopped in here twice while staying in Greenpoint at the excellent Box House Hotel. Food and service excellent both times, great neighbourhood vibe and if the weather permits grab a table outside. The Moroccan Egg dish is fabulous, can still taste the chick peas and spices!
An amazing place for late and tasty breakfast! Amazing pancakes! The best I've ever had! But be cautious - portions are huge! On a sunny day sit outside and enjoy the sun!
Flew in to NYC and met a friend for a late lunch. He picked the place & what a great choice! I had the signature burger with grilled pineapple, roasted beets & an egg on top - it was by far one of THE BEST burgers I've ever had! The egg added a creaminess, the beets added sweetness and the... More
By far the best breakfast/brunch i have had in nyc. I went on Wednesday morning so there was not wait! My husband had the Ricotta pancakes, w/ honeycomb butter, banana, blueberries, strawberries. OMG I cant tell you how good they were. It was Heaven sent! I had the toast and eggs with bacon and steak. The steak was so savory... More
My friend took me to Five Leaves for the very first time. He had the RICOTTA PANCAKES$12w/ honeycomb butter, banana, blueberries, strawberries & served with 100% pure maple syrup and I had the FIVE LEAVES BURGER$15w/ grass-fed beef, fried pineapple ring, house pickled beets, harissa mayo & sunny up egg The food was so delicious. Highly recommended.
Trusted instincts of both TA and Yelp, this place deserves the high ratings. It's rustic, cosy and fashionable all at the same time. It was a busy day, we ended up moving tables from outside to inside without a fuss despite the wait staff clearly under pressure. Our meals were great - pancakes given the thumbs up, huge generous serve... More
If you want a standard breakfast-stay away. This is breakfast with a fun twist in a lively little gem by the park.
Wow, what a place. Came in with NO reservation, sat down in the bar while the VERY friendly staff quickly found us a great table outside. Try the cocktail "War of the rosés" or "the Wallflower", just the names make you smile. So does everything else! The food was in the top 10 that we've ever had. We didn't expect... More

Unsure due to the unfamiliarity of the city, we traveled the subway and found it conveniently near the subway station stop (no a long... More
