In the area visiting from Ontario. Stayed at a hostel down the street. The desk staff mentioned some food places in the area. Walked by Roberta's and saw an active and unique place. We met some great people from "Jersey" and ended up having drinks and dinner with them. Pizza was excellent. We ordered 3 pies and it was plenty... More

It looks like a hole in the wall and maybe a bit sketchy, but don't let that deter you! It is an amazing hole in the wall. Their pizza style is very similar to Grimaldi's. The brick oven makes the pizza thin and I LOVE the crispy/burnt edges. I'd highly recommend the bread and butter app and the white pizza!

I truly enjoyed the pizza here. I didn't need to wait in any line for lunch during the week but the staff could have been friendlier and the menu could have been cheaper.. I mean, 3 dollars for extra toppings?? the pizza was 12 dollars to begin with.. Blah. In short - great pizza. Just don't come here if you're... More

...seriously. It may surprise you that a Chicagoan is going gaga for the thin crust pizza at Roberta's, but hear me out. The old Chicago/NY pizza feud is kind of a farce. Chicagoans aren't really obsessed with deep dish, we just think it's better than the reheated garbage every bodega in NY sells. But Roberta's is in a class all... More

Fantastic pizza made with fresh ingredients and cooked in a wood-fired brick oven - tasty!!! Nice draft beer selection. Definitely a hipster hang-out!

We were taken here by my daughter and her family and it was great fun. No ordinary pizzas here; they are all unusual and very good. They also have great ribs and fabulous sticky buns (I had 2). It's a funky, noisy, crowded and wonderful place.

The taxi dropped us off outside - and my initial thought was 'what the hell am I doing here' ... and then we found the door ... and walked in through the tatty red curtain. We went from being in a desserted and slightly desolate street, to being in the midst of a happy and bubbly crowded restaurant. We waited... More

We had a 2.5 hour wait for five people when we came in at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Sill, we went out to the beer garden to watch some World Cup action and order some small plates while we waited. The size of olives is good- but it's a massive scoop of olives in an even bigger bowl. The... More

This pizza place is amazing and not only because of its menu, but also because of its ambiance and people of NYC and from all over the world, whom come to enjoy this feeling in the middle of nowhere, just because its really amazing!
