I was staying at a hostel down the road and needed food on the way to the train station. We stumbled across this place by chance. From the outside you would never know what was there as its hidden amongst graffiti covered walls down a side street in a industrial type area. Once inside it was a whole different experience.... This is worth a visit. Roberta's is a restaurant with real character. The food is incredible with unusual pizzas and big variety. The service was good when we visited for lunch and the decor and vibe is really interesting with up-cycled furniture and vegetable beds on the street outside (Londoners think East London but without the attitude). We visited while... More

We've eaten here way before the Clintons came by. My hubby used to live around the block. Love eating their pizza and calzone. Brunch is good too. BUT if you miss the timing, lines are often long. the road to gentrification - nabe has lost its grit - the place gets filled with family with kids and some folks parents... More

We went to Roberta's because we had heard this was one of the best Italian restaurants in the NYC area. Its a fun place, no doubt. The staff is helpful and attentive, but the food was only so so. We ordered a pizza. Have had many pizzas in my time in New York and was expecting great things from this... More

The pizza here is simply delicious - thin crust, but not too thin, and not too doughy - just right. Toppings are simple but also very creative. One of the best examples of Neapolitan style pizza I've tasted. The first time we came for the pizza for brunch. When we returned for dinner we again had a pizza (couldn't resist... More

A nice weather institution! The Patio and Outside bar make it much more enjoyable to wait up to 2+ Hours for a pizza. You could also come here when it is cold however it would not be the same. I love the Crust even though I hear REAL Italians don't eat the crust. Service is always you know, Brooklyn, so... More

You don't go to Roberta's for the luxurious décor, beautiful toilets (restrooms in US speak...) or the like. You go for the 'hipster' atmosphere but most importantly to feast on the most perfectly prepared pizza. Service was instant and friendly. We had our glasses of water poured and given to us within about 30 seconds of sitting down. The pizza... More

Young, hip, crowded, even at 6PM on a Monday evening. We slipped in before the line formed. Interesting selection of unusual and well prepared pies, especially the Good Girl with Kale, crispy from the high heat of the oven . Crust is relatively light compared to other pies we have had, and the crust is very thin, but holds up... More

Looks like a dive from outside but once you are in it's cosy and we didn't have to wait for a table. Service was friendly and drinks good. We had the Lamb of God pizza which I highly recommend, as well as the espresso chocolate cake. Yum! If you don't like hipster food it's not for you tho...
