We weren't very hungry so my friend and I split a cheese plate, deviled eggs appetizer, and bacon mac and cheese. All were delicious! We also got the Missionary's Downfall cocktail. It was good, but very minty and "mint" wasn't listed as a main ingredient in the description. We both agree that the next time we're in Brooklyn we'll be... More

We were here for brunch. I tried the deviled eggs four ways and potato cakes with truffle cream. All was tasty. I did not have a drink but everyone there seemed to enjoy the drinks at the bar. It is a typical Brooklyn restaurant/bar with cute half circle seating and there is a back room for private parties. The only... More

Alongside the douglas fir gimlet I tried at Pegu Club, Clover Club's Meet Me in Montauk (which i mostly ordered for the name if i am honest) and Rope and Rose are the very best drinks i had in New York. A big deal considering the huge number of cocktail bars we tried during our trip! The bartender, Ivy Mix,... More

We had drinks here before dinner at a different restaurant. There is an extensive drink menu with lots of unusual concoctions. It's a great place to experiment and try something new. The staff is really attentive and can explain different flavorings. The ladies wear black dresses and gives it a bit of a classy retro feel. They do have food... More

This small bar has a comfortable back room where we had a couple of very good US beers and some tasty dishes: Brussel sprout salad, steak frites, lamb-burger etc all very tasty and fresh and served with a smile.

I had thought I knew or at least knew of most of the restaurants on Smith Street but The Clover Club had escaped me, and even escaped my foodie friends who live just nearby. I was very pleasantly surprised when it was suggested to me as a brunch destination. The food was delightful, and the drinks were first rate. We... More

For a few weeks, I was looking for the perfect place to host my 30th Birthday Party. Although I live only a few blocks from Clover Club and am often on Smith Street, I had never been to or heard of this bar. I came across a review while doing research and saw a lot of people have had great... More

The scene at Clover Club is always bustling, and with good reason. I personally prefer the back room - if it's not already full or reserved for a private party - because it's much more cozy and intimate. Because the cocktails are always so expertly crafted, I venture away from my usual Manhattan and try something new when I'm here.... More

Slow service, slightly overpriced food, and a funky chemical smell when we entered. The food was good, but there are too many other places in Brooklyn to eat at.
